Facing the Portuguese Parliament, this apartment is situated in Príncipe Real district, one of the finest in Lisbon, at a walking distance to many places of interest such as Chiado, or Bairro Alto district centre of Lisbon nightlife and one of the most picturesque in the city. It is a late 19th century building, covered to ceramic tile, that has just been completely renovated, as well as the apartment itself. The Apartment is at the 4th floor, and although it has no elevator it is easy to climb and offers a magnificent view over the Portuguese Parliament and its gardens. It has a lot of natural light, very spacious, refined décor, and with a lot of facilities. The Kitchen is fully equipped and so is the bathroom. Towels and linens are included. The apartment is also provided with wireless Internet.

The Apartment is very centrally, located in Príncipe Real a historical residential quarter and near the typical but trendy Bairro Alto, famous for its vibrant nightlife and for its Fado houses. This quarter and those near are full of restaurants, and touristic attractions, like the Bica funicular, Santa Catarina sightseeing, the famous nº28 tramway that takes you on a ride through the most picturesque areas in the city. Also 10 minutes walking is Tagus River waterfront. There is public transportation that can lead you to other places of interest in and out of the city such as Belém, Sintra, Cascais. There´s a train station 10 minutes walking with trains running to Cascais beaches.

Excellent location for sight-seeing, close to tram line, taxi's etc. Beautiful cafe's, shops nearby. Well furnished and tastefully decorated apartment.

Living Portuguese Style

Stepping out of the taxi was like stepping back in time in this old quarter of lisbon. It is so authentic and endearing. It is situated at the bottom of a hill of which you will find everywhere so bring flat shoes or trainers for walking as you will be doing loads, although Tram 28 is just down the steps to be gotten on Right Side of road if you are looking to get Downtown after ofcourse you have done a full trip on it. Its wonderful experience.The apartment was very modern and clean with towels provided and also general essentials like coffee tea etc. It had all the mod cons you could possibly need. The owner Renato was there to meet us on our arrival and was very friendly and helpful with advise and literature on Lisbon. He also was available during the stay by phone should we need him and he also organised the taxi for our departure, which was very helpful. The only downfall would be that the apartment is on the 4th floor with no lift and the building is being renovated presently, however we were not disrupted by this at all. I would recommend the apartment, but not for family with young children.

Great city, great apartment

The apartment was perfectly spacious for the 2 of us. It had great light and was well furnished. It was immediately comfortable and felt like home.

The location was nice, it was a quiet street and about a 10-15 minute to Alto.

The owner was gracious and incredibly helpful.

We highly recommend it!

Nice Flat in Lissabon

The apartment is very nice and comfortable. It is bright with a nice view. It is furnished in a very pleasant style and has a complet equipment with all necessary and imaginable household devices, also there is an tv, and cd-player and a wireless internet lan.

It is situated downtown, the famous "electric 28"-tram ist just a few footsteps away, also all shops you need for daily life. The famous Bairro alto can be reached by foot in a few minutes.

The only possible disadvantage is the fact, that it is on the third floor. But we are an 43 and 42 year old couple, and so we had no problems with it.

We also have to mention the friendly and ancomplicated way of the owner. He even waited for us at the airport exactly at our exit with a nameplate and brought us to the apartment. He provided us with a streetplan of Lissabon and explained the way to the next shops and to the city.

We have had 4 unforgetable days in lisbon and enjoyed our stay a lot.
So we can highly recommend this apartment."
