Activities on the Lake of Geneva:
(1) Sailing: possible to have a cruise aboard a sailing boat led by its captain, spend time on the Lake of Geneva and visit a medieval village…
(2) Water skiing: available at the aquatic centre.
(3) Fishing: Popular activity on Lake Geneva (perch, roach, trout, féra, char, pike). Fishing without a permit is authorized on one section of the quay. Otherwise, anglers must obtain a permit in order to fish.
(4) Cruise: romanticism of a paddle boat
Spa - Thermal Centers:
(1) State-of-the-art “Espace Thermal” is a complex devoted to thermal care and health where French doctors send patients for a cure, be it for digestive, metabolic or rheumatic problems. All treatments are dependent on water. The centre also has therapists and doctors specialized in beauty and fitness programs.
(2) The Institut de Mieux Vivre (600 ft from villa) was elected '#1 Spa in Europe' in 2005 by the 'European Spa Exhibition' in Monaco. It offers massages, seaweed wraps, mud treatments, reflexology, or lymphatic drainage in a luxurious atmosphere. One of the most popular programmes is Mother and Baby, which is run in conjunction with L'Espace Thermal, and consists of physiotherapy, exercise, weights and aquagym to help mothers regain their figure.
(3) The eastern-themed Buddha-bar Spa features pools, saunas, exercise studios, scrubbing rooms and a hammam overlooking Lake of Geneva.
Montreux Jazz Festival:
The festival is one of the most prestigious in Europe; it is held annually in early July in Montreux on the shores of Lake Geneva. This year’s festival spans 90 concerts featuring more than 1,000 musicians. B.B. King, Herbie Hancock, Black Eyed Peas and Lauryn Hill will be among the performers in July (3-18). July 11 will be a tribute to Nina Simone that features Dianne Reeves, Lizz Wright and Angelique Kidjo. July 4 will have performances by the Dave Matthews Band and Steely Dan.

(1) Foundation Gianadda, situated in Martigny (Switzerland, at the end of the Lake, towards Verbier), is an important private art collection. The sculpture garden is of outstanding quality and shows works of the most important sculptors of the 20th Century. The Foundation features works by Rodin until mid June, then pieces from the Pushkin Museum (“From Courbet to Picasso”) from June 19 to November 22.
(2) The Hermitage Foundation, situated in Lausanne (facing Evian on the Lake), is featuring Christo’s artwork (up to May 24), then “From Cézanne to Rothko”, 20th-century Masterpieces from Private Swiss Collections (June 26 to October 25).
(3) Recently opened, the « Palais Lumière » in Evian showcases until mid-May artworks by Modigliani, Soutine, Brancusi or Chagall.
Golf:
Created in 1904, the Golf Club in Evian has been completely redesigned. After two years of work, the American architect Cabell B. Robinson, in association with Robert Trent Jones, has succeeded in the creation of his first European Golf course. The result is the talented marriage of an exceptional setting and a course requiring great technical skills, qualifying Evian Masters Golf Club as one of Europe's most beautiful courses. It offers exceptional views over Lake Geneva and of the nearest summits of the French Alps.
Evian Masters Golf Club is the venue where the world's best lady golfers meet up annually to compete in the Evian Masters tournament. Its entrance on the US LPGA tour makes the Evian Masters one of the world’s leading ladies golf competition.
