The resort complex is situated in the quiet, rural, hill-top village of Ilica, but is only a 5 min drive to the beach and the lively bars and restaurants of Kumkoy and Side. (A free shuttle bus operates between the complex and the beach). The complex facilities include swimming pools, a tennis court, gymnasium, sauna, childrens play area and a cafe bar. The complex is a year round resort appealing to the sun-worshippers in the summer and golfers in the winter months. The apartment is within a 30 min drive of Belek which hosts 13 of the best golf courses in Turkey. The spacious 2ND floor apartment has 2 bedrooms (1 is en-suite), 2 bathrooms, a lounge/diner with a fully fitted kitchen and 3 balconies. The apartment is tastefully furnished and comes complete with a flat screen TV and satellite receiver. There are many things to see and do in the immediate area and no shortage of good quality bars and restaurants in which to relax and sample traditional Turkish cuisine and hospitality.

The 4 Seasons resort complex occupies a hill-top location on the outskirts of the village of Ilica near the town of Manavgat. The Taurus mountains are clearly visible to the north whilst the beaches, bars and restaurants of Kumkoy are within 3km, to the south. The old town of Side is only minutes down the coast from Kumkoy and both are serviced by the resort shuttle bus. The Mediterranean coast of Turkey is famous for its deep blue waters, golden sandy beaches and its year round blue skies. Greek and Roman remains can be found in abundance in the immediate area. With reliable transfers available from Antalya airport (these can be arranged on your behalf at the time of your booking) and a free shuttle bus service operating between the complex and the beach areas during the day and in the evenings, hiring a car is not essential. If, however, you want to explore the coastline further afield or travel daily up to the golf centre at Belek, then a car would be an advantage.

Golf: Golf is a relatively recent development in Turkey with the first courses coming on stream in 1994 but the expansion of the sport has been prodigious and the Belek area now hosts 13 courses with over 300 holes of golf. The golf season in Belek really gets underway in October when most European golf regions are winding down for the year. Belek is one of the few places within easy traveling distance of the UK where you can play golf in short sleeves throughout the winter months. In 2008 at the IAGTO Awards, Turkey was named Europe’s Golf Destination of the year and why?.........because the courses are fabulous and much better value than the equivalent quality courses in Spain and Portugal. The Four Seasons apartment in Ilica is perfectly situated to access these courses being a mere 30 minutes drive from the heart of this eminent golfing centre. Booking a round of golf could not be easier. Before you arrive, go on line at any reputable golf reservations website and make your arrangements.

We've just returned from the Four Seasons complex and genuinely can't wait to return. The description of the location, facilities and resort were very accurate and the staff at the complex are very friendly, helpful and courteous. The apartment was immaculate and the owners give first class customer service.

We thought we might find it difficult to occupy a teenager for two weeks, but after the white water rafting, parasailing, turkish bath, tennis and table tennis had worn him out, not to mention the belly dancing night, he just wanted to chill out with the friends he'd made on the complex.

We will definitely be recommending this holiday rental to all our friends.

We spent two weeks at the apartment in September 2009, which along with the complex itself was faultless & the weather lovely.

We spoke to the owners, both Gordon & Lynn & found them both very approachable & extremly helpful when making all the arrangements for the holiday. They have also produced a useful guide to the apartment & local area which we found useful on our arrival. We used the resort shuttle for airport transfers which the owner also arranged & would recommend this to others.

On our arrival the apartment was spotless. The complex is secure, well maintained, clean & matched the description on the website. The pool was wonderful & the bar & restaurant resonably priced with lovely food! The staff at the complex were extremely friendly & helpful. They were always there to help out wherever possible.

We hired a car for a few days with gave us the experience of travelling up into the mountains & seeing the waterfalls, dam & the canyon which were all amazing. But if driving isn't your thing the resort shuttle is an excellent free service taking you to the nearest towns/beaches and also the supermarket. Some of the nearby restaurants will also pick you up & drop you back to the resort, all you have to do is ask & most of them will oblige free of charge!

All the Turkish people we met were very friendly & welcoming & they love children. Our 16 month old made many waiter friends at different restaurants & was never without a free meal, ice cream or lollipop!

Overall we loved the holiday & would recommend it to anyone wanting to enjoy a well deserved break in the sun at a wonderful complex with a lovely surrounding area!

I hope this reveiw has been helpful, we certainly cant wait to go back!

We stayed in this apartment in Aug 09. It was our first holiday in Turkey. From start to finish the owner was very pleasant & helpful, answering our many questions.
We chose to use the resort shuttle for airport transfers which the owner arranged,our particular flight arrived in the early hrs of the morning so this proved very straightforward.
The apartments description was both excellent & accurate.On our arrival it was spotless & ready. The complex is secure, well maintained, clean & quiet. The staff friendly & helpful. They will help wherever possible.
We hired a car for a few days thro a contact provided by the owners, again this was a pleasant good value deal. If driving isn't your thing the resort shuttle is very good taking you to the nearest towns/beaches and also the large supermarket (migros).
Some of the nearby restaurants will drop you back to the resort, The apartment guest book mentions them. There's plenty to do & see. The Turkish people we met were very friendly.
We had a fabulous time & didn't hear one negative remark. We'd recommend this wholeheartedly. Thanks.

A weeks stay in the Four Seasons

My girlfriend and myself stayed in the apartment in the last week of June and overall we had an excellent holiday with beautiful weather.

The transfers to and from the complex were on time and easy to find. The apartment was very clean, spacious, modern and well maintained it matched the description on the site perfectly. It was located in a quiet area and with 24 hour security had a very safe feel at any time of the day. The pool was very clean and the grounds were well maintained.

We found the complex staff very friendly and helpful, particularly when ordering taxis. We arranged a trip to the waterpark having spoken to a member of staff at the bar, this was a fun day out but the detour to the sponsors gold factory was not what we imagined!

As the week progressed we realised that many of the restaurants and beaches would collect and return you to the complex for no extra charge and in addition to the free shuttle bus we managed easily without our own transport. The two nearest towns Kumkoy and Side are well worth a visit.

Side has many restaurants with a sea view serving a variety of cuisine from mexican to chinese. We ate out every evening and enjoyed every meal. The pool bar serves a small variety of meals which were very nice and handy when spending the day by the pool.

Water and bread could also be bought from the bar. We didn't visit the markets but were told by other guests that you could buy a wide variety of fruit and veg, useful if you were eating in.

We spoke with both Gordon and Lynn who were both very helpful and approachable when enquiring and finalising the arrangements. They have also produced a useful guide to the apartment and local area which we found on arrival.

We had a fantastic time and are already planning our return. Many thanks to Gordon and Lynn. Finally we hope you find this brief review helpful and that you have as enjoyable stay as ourselves.

This is the best holiday we have had in a long time, the apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. The owners were very helpfull from the moment we enquired about the holiday to returning back in england. All the information we required was provided and helped make us confident that everything would go smoothly....and it did!! We have been to Side a few times and love the area, the weather and the friendly atmosphere where ever you go. The complex was also very nice and we would definetely go back again....hopefully soon!!
