The comfortable, mid 2006 newly furnished 3-room-apartment is situated in the heart of the old town on the 2nd and 3rd floor of a white, lately renovated, typical Alfama-house which was build more than 100 years ago. Every building in this area is a listed building under monument protection. You reach the flat by several narrow alleys, passing some fishmonger stores in small houses, soccer playing children and old people on stone benches. The Alfama is the origin of Lisboa and has remained a village until today. A lot of buildings are already renovated, other are still in this phase, but this does not affect Alfama in its uniqueness. Restaurants, shops, pharmacy, cleaning and video stores are nearby. It is only a few minutes walk to the Lisboa “noble-mile” Rua Augusta and the surrounding shops as well as to the central attractions of Lisboa.

Lisbon is often described as the city of superlatives. On the famous viewpoints, the Miradouros, you experience incredible moments. You are always confronted with the extremes of old and new. Palaces decorated with the famous azlejos (blue tiles), iron elevators in the inner city, very interesting old graveyards are just as worth seeing as the modern scene in discos and bars at the docks and the large shopping malls. Cultural events of high quality will enthuse you as well as the small bakeries with the typical Portuguese pastries. The distance to the beaches and to the sport facilities are about 30 minutes by car. If you decide to rent a car you can leave it at the car park of Santa Apolonia Station - a few minutes of walking distance - at a price of about € 8 per day. Because of the very central location of our flat we recommend to use the favourable public transports.

Further information: The apartment is allocated over 2 levels with open inner stairs. The bedroom is situated in the upper part and has a completely glassed oriel which offers a stunning view over river Tagus. Here you can enjoy your wine in the evening sometimes even listening some fado-music in the background. And here you can let your gaze wander over the nearby church of St. Miguel to the Tejo and the 17.2 km long bridge “Vasco da Gama” and the nature protection area on the other side of the river. For 'star watchers' we have a telescope available. The key as well as answers to possible questions you get by Catherine and Barbara in the „Pois Café“, 5 minutes apart, directly at the cathedral Sé. They speak German, English and Portuguese.

I have visited Tejoblick two times and I must say that the apartment is really wonderful. It is clean and it has full of personality. The view is fantastic and Alfama is great area to visit. Great apartment!!

Corinna Lorenz/Volker Hofmann, Berlin: Liebe Familie Hempel, die Wohnung und alles war wunderbar! Der Ausblick war toll und die Wohnung sehr angenehm und alles da, was man so braucht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch das Pois-Café ist sehr schön, die Betreiberinnen sehr nett. *** Reinhold Schmidle, Singen: Nachdem nun leider ein paar sehr schöne Tage in Portugal zu Ende sind und wir in den kommenden Wochen von dem Erlebten zehren können, wollen wir uns nochmals herzlichst bei Ihnen bedanken. Ihre Wohnung in Lissabon war für unseren Aufenthalt geradezu traumhaft, die Lage ist nicht zu übertreffen. Ihre Wohnung hatte alles, was wir benötigten. Die zentrale Lage und trotzdem kein verkehrsbedingter Lärm, eine liebevolle und komfortable Ausstattung, ihre ausführlichen Tipps bis hin zu den sehr guten Beschreibungen und Gebrauchsanweisungen, machen eine sehr individuelle Aufenthaltsgestaltung erst möglich. Der Blick über die Alfama zum Tejo runden den Eindruck als 'Sahnehäubchen' ab.

Hervorrragende Ferienwohnung

Die Beschreibung dieser Wohnung durch den Vermieter ist keinesfalls übertrieben! Es ist tatsächlich eine sehr schöne, geschmackvolle Wohnung, die der man wirklich alles findet, was man braucht, um sich wohlzufühlen und gut kochen zu können. Sie hat eine optimale Lage, von der aus man alles schnell per Straßenbahn oder Bus erreichen kann. Wir haben schon sehr viele Ferienwohnungen - auch in anderen Ländern gemietet - aber diese Wohnung ist wirklich etwas Besonderes. Die Wohnung verfügt übrigens auch über einen Computer mit Internet-Anschluss, was sich für uns als recht praktisch darstellte (obwohl wir keine "IComputer-Freaks" sind!). Diese Wohnung können sie bedenkenlos buchen, sie werden nicht enttäuscht sein. Der Vermieter ist äußerst nett und komplikationslos. Die Übergabe vor Ort ging ebenfalls problemlos und gut über die Bühne!

Wir haben uns wirklich wohl gefühlt in dieser wunderschönen Ferienwohnung inmitten der Alfama.
Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich nur denken kann.
Am meisten haben wir es genossen, abends vor dem Fenster zu sitzen und den Blick über den Tejo schweifen zu lassen.

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung in der Altstadt

Liebe Familie H., Lissabon hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung, unser Basislager, hat daran sehr großen Anteil gehabt. Die sehr gute Ausstattung, das Vorhandensein von kleinen und großen Annehmlichkeiten, haben uns überzeugt. In unserem ganzen Bekanntenkreis werden wir Ihre Wohnung gerne und guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen. Das non plus ultra ist natürlich der wunderschöne Ausblick auf den Tejo. Auch hat uns die Lage in der Alfama gut gefallen. Nicht zu vergessen ist die persönliche Betreuung durch Barbara und Chatherine. Wer gerne ein Stück ursprüngliches Lissabon kennenlernen möchte, ist hier absolut am richtigen Fleck.
