Viareggio holiday apartment

My partner and 20 year old son had an excellent holiday in Viareggio and staying at the apartment was part of it. My son had his own room with good bunk beds. Our double bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. The lounge and kitchen area was also very spacious and comfortable. All the amenities worked well and everything was here apart from a kettle(we boiled water in a pan,easy enough) The lounge led to a balcony and although only overlooking the street outside it was nice to have a drink there either before or after going out.
The promanade and beach is about a 10 minute walk away and to get there is so relaxing as you walk through Viareggio's pinewood park which accomodates childrens rides and play areas,restaurants,bars,bicycle hire,tennis and small football courts. The park is actually metres away from the apartment.
The owner met us there on our arrival and was very welcoming showing us how to use the amenities and giving us helpful tips about shopping etc.We exchanged several e-mails before deciding to go and he did not let us down. Once he had left us with the keys we felt right at home and in case of any emergency we had his phone number.
We are very much looking forward to using the apartment again as Viareggio is such a relaxing holiday destination.
