Maenporth beach is approximately 2 minutes walk from our apartment. It is a sheltered, sandy beach, with a Beach Cafe providing snacks, drinks, etc. Cars can be parked at the top of the beach. The Cove Bar & Restaurant web: thecovemaenporth.co.uk, is situated overlooking Maenporth beach, just 2 minutes walk from our apartment. It offers snacks, full meals or just a drink, which can be enjoyed inside or on the patio overlooking the beach and sea. Falmouth is approximately 2 miles away and has a full range of shops and restaurants including a large out of town ASDA supermarket (5 mins drive from Maenporth) National Maritime Museum in Falmouth The Helford river is within walking distance and takes about 10 minutes to drive. The Lizard Peninsular is about half an hour's drive away with its many picturesque villages, including Coverack, Mullion & Lizard Village. There are trains to Falmouth, via Truro, and flights to Newquay airport (approximately 30 min from Maenporth). A bus service runs from Maenporth to Falmouth, with connections to Truro.

DISTANCES: Falmouth is approximately 2 miles away and provides a good selection of restaurants and shops, together with the National Maritime Museum. The Helford river is within walking distance and takes about 10 minutes to drive.
