Vera Playa holiday apartment

No problems finding the apartment - allocated parking space under shade nearby. On arrival we were very impressed with the cleanliness overall & the main bedroom & lounge areas benefitted from air-con.This was welcome as the temperature averaged high 20's to low 30's throughout our holiday. We were there for a relaxing break and enjoyed the pool which is close to the rear patio doors. Sun beds are provided at the apartment and also at the poolside. All modern appliances are provided to make the necessary tasks easy including a dishwasher! A selection of books, puzzles DVD's etc for all ages showed a thoughtfull touch by the owners. A clubhouse with food & drink & also a small gym are available to use. A large supermarket is within a three minute drive as are many beaches. Villaricos is a quaint little village nearby with a beach bar worth a visit. Mojacar is about 5 miles and has a great selection of cafes, restaraunts etc. Have an ice cream at the Italian Gelateria near the far end of the Playa - not to be missed. All in all a great holiday & we WILL be returning- definately recommended. Many thanks...

We enjoyed our time at this lovely holiday apartment.,We stayed for 3 weeks comencing 26 July 2009 with our 3 children their ages ranged from 2 years to 7 years. The house is fully equipped and confortable and is situated in a quiet but friendly location with good sized and clean pools to use. The complex have a tennis and 2 paddle courts to use, you only have to make the reserve to the guard in the entry complex, and he makes a timetible, you can reserve for 1 hour, until 22.00 h. The apartment have children's toy's, tennis rackets, beach items, DVD's and children's tales, the house is very equipped with all you need. The temp was not very hot this 3 weeks, from 27 to 31 ºC. Beaches are clean and close, Vera 2 minutes away, Garrucha 10 minutes away and Villaricos 5 minutes away is good for clindren is a sandy beach without stones and with rocks full of crabs near the fine sand, San Juan is good too, but on August Saturday and Sunday is very full. Las Negras is a pretty small town and beach in the Nature Reserve Park Cabo de Gata (45 minutes away) Is a good trip travel from Las Negras to the soud beaches in the nature reserve. Good fish restuarants in Garrucha. Almeria is 45 minutes away where you can visit the Alcazaba, is a Moorish castle, the second largest among the Muslim fortresses of Andalusia after the Alhambra. You must visit the old part of the city with the cathedral the architecture is a combination of Gothic and Renaissance, its fortress like appearance was due to suffering raids by pirates from North Africa. I would definitely recommend this property.

We stayed in this apartment for 1 week commencing 27th June 2009. The apartment was great and very clean and modern with excellent facilities including Washing machine and dishwasher. While we were there the weather was very hot and having 2 shower rooms and air conditioning was great. It was convienient for the family and had a swimming pool on the complex just outside the apartment and we had our own little patio and small garden area. Only a short drive to the beach and shops and the area was very scenic. We highly recommend this apartment for anyone considering visiting this part of spain.
