Lovely 3 bedroom house in a gem of a village, Brigueil Le Chantre, which has a bar/restaurant (English speaking) and shop and is about 50 yard from the beautiful medieval church. The town of Montmorillon is about 15 minutes away, with supermarkets, nice restaurants, an open air pool, museums and is extremely picturesque. Twice weekly market on Weds & Sat. 15 mins to the east is Chaillac with a swimming lake complete with waterslide & pedalos. Roman ruins nearby, the Futuroscope in Poitiers is a little over an hour away, and the towns of Limoges and Chauvigny less than an hour. Wineries in the Haut Poitou are about an hour away. Airports for Limoges & Poitiers approx 1 hour drive. House is beautifully and fully furnished. Large garden. Fully equipped kitchen. 3 bedrooms, 2 with double beds (one with loo & basin en suite) and 1 with 2 bunk beds, so sleeps 8. Separate TV room so good for families. All linen is provided. Good size family bathroom with separate shower.

Set in beautiful countryside ideal for walking or pursuing horse riding, golf, tennis, fishing or swimming. Local river beaches are nearby. Attractions include the pretty local town of Montmorrilon, famous for its museum of writing and artists. Nearby is the town of Limoges, famous for its porcelain, and the town of Poitiers which features the Futuroscope. A couple of hours drive will take you to La Rochelle, Bordeaux or Cognac, but you may not want to leave the delights of the beautiful woods, hills and scenery of the Vienne! The village itself has an excellent bar/ restaurant as well as a shop and lovely church. It is set on a hill surrounded by a pretty stream.
