Casa Kidogo is a lovely detached, modern villa with a private pool, built and furnished to high standards, on the exclusive La Cala development near to Cabo de la Nao, Javea. The sea cliffs are a five minutes walk away. The villa offers very spacious accommodation equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday in the sun and to enjoy the 'al fresco' Mediterranean lifestyle. A spacious lounge (with cable TV) and dining area adjoin a very well equipped kitchen. The main bedroom has an ensuite shower room and there are another two bedrooms, both with twin beds, which share a bathroom with shower facilities. All rooms have ceiling fans. There is a naya which leads on to the pool terrace. The villa is south facing and overlooks a pine forest. It is a peaceful and quiet area, but the beautiful cove at Granadella and the sandy beach of the Arenal are within 10 mins drive.

The La Cala development is set in an area of naturel beauty on a rocky headland which leads out to the Cabo de la Nao, the most eastern point in Spain. Javea is the jewel on the Costa Blanca with the blue sea of the Mediterranean contrasting with Montgo mountain. The town is made up of three parts; there is the Old Town with its narrow streets and alleyways; the Port ; and Arenal which has a sandy beach. Inland there is the beautiful Jalon Valley. It is also well known for its climate, sheltered from the northern winds by Montgo mountain. It is an ideal place for a quiet holiday in the sun. If you want a change of pace, the tourist attractions of Bendiorm and Valencia are about 45 mins drive away. There are some restaurants within walking distance of the villa and a supermarket, a bakery and internet shop are within 3 mins drive. The Javea and La Sella golf courses are within 20 mins drive, and there are many other courses along the coast.

Notes: Whilst the plot is flat, there are seven steps leading up to the pool terrace and the entrance to the villa. All rooms are on the same level. The pool is not fenced and the depth is up to 2 metres; parents must be careful with young children/non-swimmers. The pool man makes regular visits for cleaning and maintenance. The garden is also maintained. Full linen and bath towels are provided (with a weekly change for stays of over one week); guests should provide their own pool towels. Window blinds in all bedrooms. There is an alarm system linked to central control. Secure off road car parking. We have an excellent local agent who will take you to the villa and show you all the facilities; they will also change the linen as appropriate.

Super stay at Casa Kidogo in Javea in September 2008. The villa was as described; well equipped, good size rooms, excellent service from the local agent who showed us around the villa when we arrived. Short walk to the coastal cliffs where there are faboulous views.
A couple of restaurents and shops within walking distance but you do need a car. We liked Granadella cove and the Arenal area.

We had a great two weeks in Javea. Beautiful area with the sea and the hills. The villa was really comfortable, well equipped with a good pool. Quiet area for a relaxing holiday, but many facilities within a short drive. Thoroughly recommended.
