FIVE COLUMNS is a beautiful 200-year-old house set in the Chbanat area, near to the main gate of Bab Marrakech in the ancient Medina of Essaouira, famous for its textile workshops. This luxurious house is more like a home from home, with every detail designed to make your stay as comfortable as possible. This friendly local community has an array of shops with plenty of helpful shopkeepers on hand to provide all you will need for your stay. There are bakeries and fruit and vegetable stalls all within a 5-minute stroll as well as cafés, restaurants, the beach and harbour all within a ten minute walk. The house has recently gone through a complete renovation and has been sympathetically restored, retaining all the original features such as the sand stone columns, Thuya wood ceilings and the amazing flooring of black and white traditional tiles in the courtyard. The house is filled with a mix of vintage & modern European furniture with some beautiful Moroccan antiques

Essaouira known as the most laid back resort on the Atlantic coast enjoys a mild and pleasant climate all year round. Here you will find a relaxed white washed town with narrow streets and an amazing lively Medina. Unspoilt white sandy beaches with some of the worlds best windsurfing and a fantastic bustling harbour. You can spend hours in the old Medina browsing at the local craftsmen in their workshops, art galleries, shops and boutiques. There are numerous restaurants and cafes (full details are available in the info book at the house). Down by the harbour you will find the famous fish stalls, which will serve the most amazing fresh fish, caught daily.

  • RATES from £750.00 per week
    £250 per person per week, with a supplement of £250.00 if only 2 people staying. The following is included in the price: Daily cleaning, towels, complimentary hand made soap, firewood, tea, coffee, milk and water on your arrival.

    On arrival you will be met and taken to the house and will be given a tour of the medina.
    The house is cleaned daily by Latifa who will cook delicious Moroccan food at your request, just ask her when she arrives in the mornings and she will prepare and deliver the meal at a time of your choice at an arranged cost.
  • High season periods of Christmas & New Year, Easter, July & August the rental is £300.00 per person per week with a minimum of 3 people.
  • Children under 3 go free
