A 2 bedroom single storey villa, very private with fabulous sea views. Villa Ourania is a newly built villa, constructed in 2008. With two bedrooms, one double and one twin, this is an ideal family villa. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with large walk-in shower. The whole area is cordoned off with a large fence. The pool has an infinity style with an area for small children to play in. The views from the lounge/kitchen are breathtaking, taking in a pine covered valley on to the harbour of Agia Efimia and the Ionian sea. The villa is fully equiped with a fully fitted kitchen and dining area. A brick built barbeque offer the facility of outdoor dining during the hot summer evenings. There is no traffic in the area only the odd sheep which may pass by on the side road down the valley. Agia Efimia is around 4 km from the villa with all the facilities of a popular resort. A private drive leads you to the gravel parking area at the side of the villa.

Loukata is a small hamlet just up the valley from Agia Efimia, around two minutes drive away. Peace and quiet is it's attraction. Agia Efimia is one of the few small harbour on Kefalonia and although it has encouraged tourism, has still managed to maintain it's traditional style and culture. There are many tavernas, snack bars and coffee bars in the harbour and for shopping Sami is just up the coastline. Sami is famous for its' role in the hit film Cpt Correlis' Mandolin, as a large portion of the film was set here. There is a fantastic beach just round the corner Antisamo with fine white sand and shingle. For those who like adventure you may wish to try scuba diving or hire a small motorboat from the port of Agia Efimia. In the area of Sami are the Drogorati caves & Melisani Lake a couple of the most favourite tourist attractions on the island. Fiscardo and Assoss with their quaint harbour and Venitian architecture are only a short drive away. Don't forget Mytos beach 2 mins away
