Villa Amoudia is situated in the picturesque resort of Lourdas,only 5 minutes walk from the pebbly beach where you can find windsurfing, peddelos and a variety of tavernas. The villa is well equiped with a fully fitted kitchen and dining area. Satellite TV and radio are set up with some children's channels. The location of villa Amoudia is very quiet and peaceful whilst being not too far from the amenities of the busy resort of Lourdas. There is a crystal clear private pool infront of the villa, which is surrounded by a patio area leading out to a feature barbeque. The backdrop to the property is the islands highest mountain Mount Aenos. Argostoli the Capital of Kefalonia is only twenty minutes away with all the facilties of a working town.

Lourdas is one of the most popular tourist resorts on Kefalonia. The village has a variety of tavernas offering traditional and international cuisine. On Lourdas long shingle beach you can find many watersports and activities. Walking is a favourite in this area as there are still many rural part to the surrounding countryside. Further down the coastline is Mounda bay where the famous Loggerhead turtles lay their eggs during the month of July in the fine sand of Kaminia beach. St. Georges castle once the capital of Kefalonia is around 15 minutes drive from the villa and most of the outer walls of this fortress are still standing. It is worth a trip just for the views. The sun sets behind Villa Amoudia allowing the patio area and pool to be a sun trap almost all day.
