This pretty Portuguese Villa gives a really warm welcoming feeling immediately on entering its grounds. There are 3 good size bedrooms - 2 twins on the ground floor and the double ensuite on the 1st floor, which has a large terrace overlooking the pool. The comfortable lounge has patio doors leading out to the south-west facing pool area. The separate dining area is stepped up from the lounge and has the added feature of a cupola ceiling. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need for a self-catering holiday. There is a separate utility room with a washing machine and ironing facilities. There are 2 bathrooms and 1 cloakroom. There is a good size private pool and gardens with borders of flowers and shrubs. The sunbathing area is immediately in front of the lounge and is in a south-west facing position enabling you to soak up the sun for most of the day. In addition there is a roof top terrace with lovely views of the surrounding area and sea.

Some of the Algarve's most beautiful beaches are in the immediate area. Castelo and Evaristo are the nearest at less than a 10 minute walk. Other beaches within the area include Gale, Sao Rafael, Coelha and Lourenco. Various water sports are on offer at some of these beaches. There is a choice of excellent restaurants as well as some bars within easy walking distance. Golf courses are never too far away, the nearest being Salgados, a 5 minute drive. For walkers there are some beautiful cliff top walks and a long beach walk at Gale. The nearest water parks are AquaLand and Zoomarine which are about 15 minutes by car. If you haven't got your own transport then the Park buses will collect you less than a minute's walk from the villa. Numerous activities are within easy reach and there is a Krazy Golf Course nearby. Albufeira itself is a short taxi ride.

  • The double bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower. It has patio doors opening out onto a large terrace overlooking the pool and garden. Both twin bedrooms are on the ground floor and share the main bathroom. The twin beds in one bedroom are designed to fit together to make a double bed if preferred. There is a sofa bed in the area outside the double bedroom. There are 2 cots and 2 high chairs. Each bedroom has a fan.

General: Maid service is once a week. Towels and Linen are provided and are changed once a week. If you would like a more frequent maid service then this can be provided at a small additional cost. Access to the villa on your day of arrival is normally 3.30pm and on your day of departure you are asked to depart by 10.30am. However we do try to accommodate our clients according to their flight times and if this is possible we will do so.

Getting Around: A car is not necessary for this location as beaches, restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance. If you wish to go to water parks, then the parks provide buses and the bus stop is a minute's walk. Taxis are reasonably priced and in addition to the municipal taxis there are private hire taxis who are familiar with the villa - these must be pre-booked. They also offer day trips. There are buses to take you to Albufeira and local beaches such as Gale (if you don't fancy walking). Again the stop is only a minute's walk. The Algarve is a beautiful place and if you wish to explore a little then we recommend hiring a car even for part of your stay.

Shops: There is a local mini market within a couple of minutes walk of the villa and about 10 minutes a good supermarket with stocks most things and where you can buy freshly baked bread every day. It also has a butcher and a fishmongers. There are more good supermarkets within the area. For larger supermarkets you can either drive into Albufeira itself or go to 'Algarve Shopping' which is a shopping mall with a big supermarket, designer shops, gift shops, etc. Here you will also find a bowling alley, 8 screen cinema (many of the films are in English) and a food hall. This is about a 10 minute drive.
