This modernised bungalow is within a 5 minute drive/30 minute walk of Bournemouth's marvellous beaches. It has 1 bathroom and 1 shower room, both with WC, 3 double bedrooms, separate dining room, lounge, fitted kitchen and small games/reading area. Two of the bedrooms have day beds, meaning 8 can sleep in the house. There is garden to front and rear with patio area and secure for children and dogs. There is unstricted parking. The house is equipped with free High speed wireless Internet, TV and DVD. Situated beside the heath in a quiet residential road, it is close to Upper Gardens which provides a tranquil off-road walk or cycle ride to both beaches and Bournemouth town centre. The gardens also have tennis courts and mini golf. This house is available for weeks during the peak times (Saturday to Saturday) and weekends during the rest of the year. New Forest, Christchurch, Studland bay and many family attractions are within striking distance as well as several fine golf course.

The beaches at Durley Chine are 5 minutes by car (free parking available), 10 minutes by bicycle or a 30 minute walk,- much of it through beautiful gardens. Bournemouth is famous for its clean, extensive beaches stretching for 5 miles to the magnificent residencies of Sandbanks- Britiains answer to Malibu. Let the children play on the sand, have an evening BBQ, rent a beach hut, keep fit by cycling or jogging on the car free road behind the beach. 4 miles away is Poole Harbour, one of the countries most popular boating areas. Take a ferry to Studland Bay or Brownsea Island or a day cruise past Old Harry's rocks along the Jurassic coast to Swanage for some fossil hunting. You can charter a boat or rent a sailing dinghy. Within 30 minutes drive are many attractions for all the family- Adventure wonderland, Beaulieu National Motor Museum. The Blue Pool on the Isle of Purbeck, the New Forest with its wild ponies, and several fine golf courses.

Golf: Silver Birches is in close proximity to some of the finest golf courses in the South of England. Broadstone, Parkstone, Ferndown & Isle of Purbeck are all within a few miles . Meryck Park is nearly within a tiger woods drive ! There are over 40 golf courses in Dorset- so whatever your handicap you will find courses to suit your abilty and your wallet. Silver Birches will easily, and comfortably accomodate 2 three balls or a fourball. If you are bringing a non golfing partner or want a day off then there is plenty in the area to keep you all entertained. Whether you want a 'boys night' out in the Poole Quay area or a quiet laze on some on the country's beaches - it is all there. This really is an excellent area for a golfing break

The perfect base for a Dorset Holiday

The bungalow was lovely ! Well equiped and nicely placed for all our needs , 5 mins from Durley Chine and all the other beaches in Bournemouth and just off the Poole road so good for further afield like poole , Weymouth and Monkey World etc Our 'hosts' were very good with directions provided that were very helpful and no quibles when we needed to arrive on another date . A bonus for a large family would be the day beds , there are 3 in total (1 in one double bedded room , 2 in the 3rd double room ) so you could sleep upto 9 if you really wanted to ! All in all a great holiday cottage for a family !!!
