Tastefully furnished luxury apartment in quiet residential location, set back from the road. 10 minutes walk from Dover beach and St.Lawrence Gap. Enter the property via the large terrace at the front of the building, in to the open plan lounge and dining room. Through the fully equiped kitchen is the utility room with washing machine, 2ND toilet and access to the rear garden. The bedrooms are situated down a small corridor. Bedroom 1 with a double bed, wardrobe and dressing table. Bedroom 2 with twin beds and large chest of drawers. Also off the corridor is the bathroom with shower and WC, and a study with internet access. Also included in the property is satellite TV, air conditioning throughout, off-street parking, and weekly maid service. The English owners are on hand to advise on local tours and sightseeing, and can also arrange transport to and from the airport.

A luxury apartment in a fantastic location, close enough to the action of the infamous St.Lawrence Gap with it's busy nightlife, open air bars and superb restaurants, but with enough distance to chill out when you want to. Local Dover Beach has soft white sand and turquoise seas. Enjoy beach sports, sailing, diving, jet skiing, or just relaxing. There's plenty of bars and cafes, some with wireless internet access. A short bus ride away from the apartment is Oistins beach with it's fish market. Friday nights are a must for tourists and locals alike, who enjoy dining out on locally caught fish and seafood under the stars, with live music and local crafts stalls. In the opposite direction is the capital, Bridgetown, for all your duty free and local arts shopping. The city has a lively atmosphere and vibrant feel, with its beautiful marina and colonial architecture.

Relaxing, welcoming apartment

We stayed in the apartment in May 09. After visitng the island a couple of times before we decided to opt for an apartment as oppose to our previous hotel choices.

The owners were so welcoming and friendly, and respected our privacy, but were always on hand to advise us on the local area. They were perfect hosts.

The house is only a short walk from the beautiful Dover Beach, but far enough away from the hotels and bars to have plenty of peace and quiet.

We had no transport, which wasn't a problem, as everything was in walking distance. Although I would suggest a taxi or bus to and from the larger supermarket if the weather is hot.

The rooms were spacious and clean, with a fully equiped kitchen and utility room. After returning from our evening walk to St Lawrence Gap, it was nice to enjoy the rest of the evening sitting on the balcony with a nightcap.

I would strongly recommend visiting York House for your stay in Christchurch. We will certainly be visiting again next time we visit.
