Ground floor flat in gated residence with parking space. Within easy walking distance of the town centre, beach and facilities. Views of the sea, town and mountains from the terrace which faces south and overlooks a garden belonging to the apartment block. The good-sized terrace is equipped with table and chairs, loungers and awnings. Living room with sofa bed, television, dining table and chairs. Bedroom with double/twin beds, wardrobe. Bedding and towels provided. Both rooms open onto the terrace through French windows.The bathroom has a full bath and shower fitments. Separate toilet. Fitted kitchen with table and chairs, washing machine, iron, microwave, fridge, toaster, electric kettle, electric hotplate. Peaceful residential area with lots of flowers and trees. Ten minutes walk from the Promenade des Anglais. Flat is on a bus route and a few minutes from bus routes into Cannes, Antibes, Monaco, and Nice airport.

Few minutes walk from the Promenade des Anglais with its beaches and sporting activities. Within easy walking distance of the town centre ,shopping areas, restaurants, cinemas. Short bus ride/drive to the port, old town, museums. Other seaside towns, Cannes, Antibes, Menton, Monaco, can be easily reached by bus or train. Buses also go to Grasse with its perfume factories, Eze, Saint Paul de Vence , Saint Agnes ( outstanding places of character) and the mountains. Bus fares are low: 1 euro and passes can be bought. Italy and the market at Vintimille can be reached by bus or train. Corsica is a ferry distance away. 20 kilometres from Nice, in Biot, are Marineland theme park with its dolphin and killer whale show, the glass factories and Aquasplash water park.

We, a party of two, spent 4 days in this apartment mid July. The spacey apartment with southern exposure is located on a hill that offers fantastic wide views of Nice downtown, the green mountains of the inland, and the ocean. The balcony is large and a great place to slowly wake up in the morning under the large sunscreens and to have a nice drink overlooking the city in the evenings.
Just a few minutes easy walking down a steep hill (up the hill is a different story!), there is a main road with a very friendly bakery that has all sorts of coffee and French breakfast to go (direction beach on the second corner, left hand side of the road). This same road also brings you in just 5 more minutes by foot to the Promenade d’Anglais and right on the beachfront.
The property manager Evelyn was of great help awaiting us upon our late night arrival and provided very detailed information about the area and maps to use. Also our late departure was accommodated.
We suggest renting a car to go sightseeing along the coast, and visit the villages and scenic route along the waterfalls more inland. The property provides free secured parking, and we were lucky of finding one spot each evening upon return in the secured parking area.
The only constructive comments we have is that a standard coffee maker (with filter) is missing in the apartment and that we were only provided with one set of towels (one small and one large) each for the duration of our stay. There are also no beach towels, etc., however there are plenty of great luxury and modest beach clubs that provide all-in packages for rent.
All in all, we had a wonderful time, thanks to Evelyn and the apartment itself, and we would recommend this property to others.
Owner's Response: We are very pleased that the flat and our manager were appreciated! and because our main concern is to maintain a good standard of accommodation we have added an electric coffee-maker to the kitchen equipment as an alternative to the existing traditional piston one. Extra bath and hand towels, as well as beach towels, are now an available option on request. We will very soon be providing a DVD player and, hopefully, a WIFI connection.

We are very satsfied of this flat. It's a place confortable,silent, with morning sun.
Equipement and furniture are excellent.
And the possibility to park a car is a notable plus.
What else ?
The situation in a modern and very clean building.

Concerning usuel requisits (ccurate description of location, cleanness, customer services, etc), all was correctly done and stistied us.
We would recommend this property to any friends.

Nice apartment

This was our first trip to Nice and we spent a very enjoyable week in this apartment. The location was very convenient for access to the beach and town. We chose not to hire a car whilst there and were relieved that it was nice and easy to get to all areas by foot (although it is up quite a steep hill!) The balcony gave us beautiful views of the sea and town.
The property description was accurate and we arrived to find the apartment clean and very well maintained.
The manager provided plenty of information on the area including local amenities and attractions and maps. She kept in regular email contact with us before our arrival, giving us advice on the best way to get into the town and what the weather would be like. And it was lovely to be met by her outside the apartment upon our arrival from the airport.
I'd certainly recommend this property to a friend for a relaxing, quiet, break, and would be happy to stay there again myself.
