Bansko will be host of the European Cup for men in slalom 22-23 January 2010.
In 2011 26-27 February Bansko will host the World Cup for men Super G and Slalom.
In 2012 25-26 February Bansko will host the World Cup for women Downhill and Super G.

Ski:
Bansko is the all new Bulgarian ski resort, recently discovered by the foreign skiers and tourists, but well known in Bulgaria. Bansko provides a superb combination of virgin nature of The Pirin Mountain with state of the art ski lifts and a well planned ski area, whilst still retaining the atmosphere of the ancient Bulgarian small town. Bansko is not only a resort but also a beautiful historic spot and situated in South-Western Bulgaria at the foot hills of one of the beautiful Bulgarian mountain Pirin.
During the recent years a multi-million euros investment in a brand new skiing area has been made by Yulen, the company which has the licence to run the skiing area of the resort. Bansko has the best snow record and the longest ski season (15 Dec - 15 May) of all Bulgarian ski resorts.

Pirin Golf and Country Club Bansko - Razlog , Bulgaria is the second largest alpine golf site in Europe with an overall of 36 holes quality alpine golf.
The first Bansko Razlog golf course - Pirin golf is designed by European Golf Design (EDG) as an 18 hole (par 72) layout, with the signature of 2006 Ryder Cup European team captain , Ian Woosnam . It is located in the municipality of Razlog . Its first nine holes were opened on 6 October 2007. The full 18-hole Ian Woosnam design course will be opened in 2009.
The second Bansko - Razlog golf course - The Pine course will be built as an 18-hole championship (par 72) layout. With the two 18-hole golf courses inside its boundaries, the overall Pirin Golf and Country Club complex will spread on 1,8 mln. sq.m.
Pirin Golf clubhouse provides high quality services and will become the beloved place for all golfers. Its stylish external architecture and design as well as its internal finishing will contribute to the overall high quality of the resort
