Vista Oceano holiday studios are located in a quiet residential area of the capital Funchal. The accommodation has panoramic views overlooking the city & busy cruise liner harbour. For all your self-catering needs a supermarket is located just a short walk away. The nearest bus-stop is located just 100 meters from the entrance, where a 5 minute journey will find you in the city. The owners live on site & are always available to offer help or advice whenever required. The tourism registered accommodation gives you the best that Madeira can offer by way of self-catering. Guests comfort & security are the owners priority. A fully equipped Kitchen with all crockery, cutlery & cooking implements, ensuite facilities & three days per week maid service. The twin-bedded rooms leading out to the guests swimming pool or balcony. There is also a poolside bar-b-cue house. Airport transfers can be arranged. Substantial discounts are offered for long stay guests wishing to stay more than a month.

The pool side apartment has the original stones from the wine cellar. The property was purchased in 1998. Care was taken not to change the Portuguese style of the building. Two years later plans were set to renovate the wine cellar under the house to accommodate self-catering apartments. We still have the old vine. Very comfortable twin bedroom accommodation. Just outside you can smell the beautiful flowers from our garden.This apartment has a conservatory which can accommodate an extra person.

We enjoyed staying in this apartment very much. It is a spacious apartment with a big kitchen and nice bathroom. The garden and swimmingpool are nice and quiet. Maria is kind and helpful. Madeira is a beautiful island with lots of things to see and do. Walking to Funchal is 20 minutes. The bus takes only a few minutes. Busstop is nearby.

My husband and I have been holidaying in Vista Oceano for the past nine years, so that speaks for itself in terms of satisfaction of the accommodation, service, views, etc. We have also taken friends with us on some occasions and they were just as impressed with the amenities and friendliness of the staff. The property is set high up within Funchal town and has unspoilt views of the town and the bay. The welcome is unsurpassed, as is the welcome starter pack of basic food necesssary for the first breakfast and a few snacks. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, clean, functional and spacious with all the necessary electrical appliances and cupboards stocked with attractive crockery and cutlery. The television has many channels and there is a small library of English holiday novels. The garden is neat and attractive, with chairs, tables and loungers and the swimming pool is small but sufficient for the number of studios. There is a good sized supermarket within walking distance and a bus service into town. Highly recommended.

Well back in Beder and adjusted again to daily life, we are looking back on our stay on Madeira with warm feelings. Madeira is an interesting place and our stay in your lovely studio combined with your kindness and hospitality will certainly bring us back once again to your place.
