They are located in a quiet area but only minutes away from the old town square with all its bars, including live music, cafes, restaurants. The complex offers total privacy, is security gated. Cascading pools including children's splash pool and landscaped gardens with supplied sun loungers. Underground secure parking. Air conditioning. 2 balconies. Lift access. The apartments offer both the romantic holiday or the active vacation with the beach (5 mins walk away) offering all water sports. Guests may use the restaurant and bar in the 5 star Cerro Mar Gardens hotel opposite. For a small local charge you can also make use of the heated indoor swimming pool, gym, tennis courts, bowling alley, sauna and Turkish bath.

The Algarve has over 100 miles of golden sandy beaches and the larger ones have lifeguard patrols starting in may. Most of the beaches have been awarded the blue flag of Europe. The beach restaurants serve excellent fresh food straight from the ocean. The bigger beaches have all water sports on offer.The Algarve is also know for its climate which is good for about 300 days a year with plenty of warm sunshine from early to late. Albufeira is known for its nightlife which is within easy reach of the apartment as the old town square is only moments away.The old town nightlife revolves around the main square with its quaint houses and restaurants of all international cuisine. The largest water park is called aqualand and is great fun for all the family of any age and supplied by free bus service.There are daily boat trips out of the new marina in albufeira for fishing, dolphin watching or just cruising along the coastline.

Great value for money

Our holiday trip started long before we even arrived in Albufeira. Kath, the owner, went out of her way to arrange our 3 week stay according to our wishes & needs for our kids, 7 & 9 years old.

The apartment itself was great, clean and well equipped. The location felt very secure and was the perfect base for exploring Albufeira & surrounding cities.

Albufeira offers a vast selection of restaurants. We did cook a lot on our own, though, and appreciated the big Lidl supermarket just 5 minutes away by foot.

The property was well kept, the pool area offering a relaxing environment away from the busy beaches on days when we didn't feel like going anywhere. And the nearest beach was only a 10 minute walk, even with the kids, through the old town.

We'd recommend anyone to stay at Cerro Mar. We had a lovely time and got great value for money.

Apartment was excellent. Very clean, pleasant and well maintained throughout. Excellent bathroom facilities.

Stunning sea views from balcony, which also is great for spending time on early evening watching the sun go down.

Great location; as only a very short walk from Old Town Square. Loads of very Good restaurants and bars with Live entertainment every night. Would recommend Bank Bar or Bravo's for food. Excellent menu choice and reasonably priced. Sir Harry's Bar & D&C are good choices for evening drinks. both have live entertainment every night.

Owner gave a very good service. Great communication throughout the booking stage, organised transfers so trip was un-interrupted and was fortunate enough to meet them on arrival.

Would recommend this property to family and friends as location and property is ideal for young and elder couples alike.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Romantic Getaway

we stayed in this apartment september 2009, it is a lovely bright apartment with all mod cons including british television, and a wonderful pool ,there is a small shop a few yards outside the apartment which was very convenient,although the old town main
square is only minutes away with many more shops resturants bars etc. we look forward to returning next year, and would recommend these apartments to anybody who wants a "home from home holiday"
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
