Welcome to Borthwen Barns. Soak up the tranquility of the countryside, the sound of the sea all from your own patio area. As evening draws in, marvel at the wealth of stars in a crystal clear sky. This exclusive 9-barn conversion is on the north west coast of Anglesey set within an area of outstanding natural beauty & is less than a 2 min walk from the secluded blue-flag sandy Borthwen Beach and coastal walks. The rugged stone exterior provides little indication of the high specification interior hidden within. The cottages have large living-dining areas, wide screen television, Wi-Fi, under floor heating, luxurious bathrooms and have stylish, contemporary furniture set against a palate of muted creams and a splash of colour.From the crisp white cotton bed linen to the fluffy towels, every detail has been carefully thought through to promote a feeling of luxury. The various barns can cater for up to 10 guests and as they are part of a large country estate, woodlands walks are available

Big Moo opens to a spacious hall with seating area and hand crafted oak stairs to first floor. Off the marble floored hallway are three bedrooms, a large family bathroom and a utility cupboard.Bedroom one has a king size bed and en-suite. Bedroom two and three, both have the option of either a super king size bed or two 3 foot single beds in each room.All the rooms have oak flooring the beds are impeccably dressed with crisp linens.The bathrooms have marble-tiled flooring/under floor heating and heated towel rails, and are beautifully finished with fluffy towels.The family bathroom has separate bath, enclosed power shower, two sinks and a toilet.Upstairs is a spacious living area with spectacular views of the sea. There is seating for up 8, wide screen HD television/ DVD player.There is an integrated contemporary kitchen area with granite breakfast bar/stools and the usual modern appliances.The dining area seats 8.Off the living area is bedroom four -large king bed or two 3ft singles.

Notes: The Barn benefits from its own patio area with lawn and barbecue provided. There are 4 chairs and a table. At the side of the Barn there is room for two cars to park in a private area. There is a short lane opposite to the Barn that leads to the beach. Please note: linen and towels are only included for the 8 sleeping places provided, guests wishing to use the fold-up beds must pay an additional 10% of total holiday price for each additional guest. A stair gate is available and a high chair,toys and a travel cot can be provided upon request. We can offer services such as home-cooked food, pamper evenings, baby sitting and can arrange horse-riding or water-sports and orienteering. There is a welcome folder in the Barn with comprehensive lists of all local attractions, restaurants, timetables for buses/boats and activities available locally. As the Barns are part of Carreglwyd, a large country estate, guests have access to the woodland walks there.

In addition baby-sitting and activities such as horse riding, go-carting, golfing, fishing, horse riding and spa pamper days can easily be organised in order to make your stay memorable. Finally as Borthwen Barns are part of the privately owned Carreglwyd Country Estate, the huge fishing lake and beautiful woodland walks will be made available to all guests on request. There will be a small cost for use of the fishing of the lake.
