The Chalet Aquila was built in 2008 in a tranquil location overlooking the beautiful village of Wengen and the Lauterbrunnen Valley. This 3 bedroom high quality apartment is on the 2ND floor of the chalet style house. The apartment itself has 110 square meters of living space with large balconies at the front and side. There are two double bedrooms and one twin room, 1 bathroom and 1 shower room, a spacious hallway/entrance way leading into a large lounge and open plan kitchen. The open plan living room has a fireplace and large seating area with cable TV, DVD, radio, internet access, and stereo system. The open plan kitchen has fridge freezer, stove, hob, microwave and dishwasher. The lower floor of the house has a ski room and fully equiped utility room with washer and dryer. There is also a spacious communal sauna.

Nearest Airport: Bern/Belp at 80 Kilometres
Nearest Motorway: Interlaken at 12 Kilometres
Car: not necessary
The Aquila is located approximately a 5 minute walk above the public car free village of Wengen and adjacent to the Hotel Falken. In winter it is possible to ski down to the Männlichen cable car and ski right back to the house at the end of the day. In summer you have direct access to the hiking area.

Very clean and new apartment with all the facality required for self catering holidays. Views were excellent. But just bear in mind the cost of travelling everyday from your car park to the apartment.
