Our Algarve home is in the village of Sesmarias, just 3 km west of the bustling market town of Albufeira and an easy 40-minute drive from Faro airport. Praia da Coelho, the 'Beach of the Rabbits' is a small coved beach just a few minutes easy stroll from the villa and is set amongst the magnificent cliffs which occupy this part of the Algarve offering beautiful cliff top walks and several other small coved beaches, most with their own beach bars. The villa is set in its own fully landscaped spacious grounds with lawns, shrub and flower beds. There is a substantial BBQ for al-fresco cooking as well as a large shaded dining area. There are loungers and outdoor furniture to ensure our guests comfort. Inside the villa is fully equipped to cater for all your needs with flat screen satellite TV, a large selection of DVDs, videos, CDs and a library of books. The kitchen is modern, fully fitted and has an ample supply of crockery, cutlery and cooking appliances.

A quiet location and very conveniently placed for several local restaurants, bars and mini- supermarkets within a few minutes walk to cater for your daily needs. The newly constructed Albufeira marina is 2 km's away, a little over halfway between the villa and Albufeira. There are beautiful cliff top walks along the cliffs all the way to Albufeira and a little more challenging is the lovely cliff/beach walk to Amarcao de Pera to the east of the villa which takes about an hour, or a bit longer if you choose a few 'pit-stops' along the way for refreshments. The nearest golf course is Salgados, a particularly challenging course with the odd water hazard at the start, end as well as either side of most fairways!!!

  • The master bedroom with its en-suite occupies the entire first floor. The en-suite comprises bath, substantial walk-in shower, twin basins, toilet and a bidet. There are patio doors onto it's own sun terrace with views over the pool and gardens. It has a wall mounted flat screen TV. Bedroom 2 is on the ground floor with a double bed, fitted wardrobes and bathroom opposite with bath, twin basins, toilet and bidet. There are patio doors onto the terrace. Bedroom 3 in on the ground floor with twin beds and fitted wardrobes. It has an en-suite bathroom with a substantial walk-in shower, twin basins, toilet and bidet. Small electric heaters are fitted in wardrobes to keep clothes warm and fresh, especially useful during the low and winter seasons. All rooms have ceiling fans, they are double glazed and have individually controlled air conditioning units which warm as well as cool the air. The villa is double glazed throughout.

Golf: The villa is ideally situated with many golf courses within a short drive (car drive, that is!!). Salgados is the nearest and about 5-minutes away whilst the course of Vilamoura, Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago are about 30-minutes away to the west. The courses at Carvoeiro, Pinina and Alvor are well within a 30-minute drive to the east.

This is a wonderful villa set in a beautiful secluded garden full of lovely shrubs and planting. The photos do not do the villa full justice, it was very well appointed and equipped to a very high standard with everything anyone could need or want to make their holiday relaxing and hassle free.

Our teenagers loved the pool, as did we, but we also really appreciated the shade afforded by the beautiful garden.
The location was excellent just a few minutes walk from a gorgeous beach.

Everything described about the villa was absolutely accurate and we would thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday in a beautiful location.
