Local Area:
Bodrum, which is only a 40 minute drive, provides the cosmopolitan, vibrant and busy town with a large Marina and all amenities for a perfect day out, but Gulluk provides all that is usually required at a much more leisurely pace. For a leisurely visit to a larger but still typical Turkish town, a visit to Milas is recommended, again reached within about 25 minutes.
From Bodrum, the nearby islands of Rhodes and Kos Greece, can be accessed by Ferry offering a perfect opportunity to experience both destinations in one holiday.
Both towns can be reached by car, taxi or inexpensive Dolmus from Gulluk centre. With a Dolmus passing within a short distance of the apartment on a regular route into Gulluk, journey time about 5 minutes, a quick transfer in the town would result in easy connections to either Bodrum or Milas.

Vita Park Golf Resort, which opened its doors to golfers in July 2009, is the first major golf course to open on the Bodrum peninsula.The first course completed for 2009 is the Milas-71, a par-71 18-hole golf course which hugs the contours of Lake Tuzla. The course is 5,850 meters long and offers the charm and challenge of an Old World course with a feel that is reminiscent of traditional Scottish links. The Milas-71 course is a pay & play course, bookable either through Vita Park Golf Resort or through some of the hotels which fringe the shoreline in the region.
