Completed in 2008, Theo's House offers new, fully air-conditioned, first floor, self catering accommodation within walking distance of Almirida's beautiful, golden, sandy beaches. The apartment is situated on the southerly end of a small complex of privately owned apartments which share a large 80m2 swimming pool, children play park & BBQ area. The apartment has 2 bedrooms (1 double & 1 twin) & a bed settee in the living area. A travel cot is also available. A fully tiled shower room is between the two bedrooms. There is a spacious, open plan kitchen/diner and living area. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a washing machine. There is a high chair provided for small children. There are furnished balconies to the front and back of the apartment, providing a choice of sun or shade, where you can enjoy peaceful countrified surroundings with lovely views to the olive groves, tree clad hills and white Mountains. Fly screens are fitted to the balcony doors and kitchen window.

Almirida is a small fishing village on the northern coast of crete. The village is built around an attractive crescent shaped bay, boasting 2 beautiful, sandy beaches and a small fishing harbour. Both beaches have shallow water making it ideal for young children and less confident swimmers. Lining the waterfront you will find a selection of tavernas and café bars in which you can relax with a drink, enjoy the freshly caught seafood or sample some traditional Cretan cuisine. In the heart of the village, you will find a selection of mini-markets and shops including a bakers, a jewellers and souvenir shops. The picturesque, surrounding countryside provides scenic routes for walkers and cyclists. A variety of traditional villages, archaeological sites & small craft centers are just a few minutes drive away. A 30 minute drive down the national highway will take you to the historic town of Chania, with its shops, indoor market, old harbour and busy seafront tavernas and bars.

The information that we were given prior to travel was superb and we had no surprises or disappointments. Theo's provided us with a superb location and comfortable,clean accommodation.The gardens and pool were safe and relaxing as our children played and swam.The service from Martin( he sorted the dvd player very quickly) and from Villas Crete was excellent.
We all had a lovely relaxing week and will certainly return to Crete. Thankyou .
