Best sunset views

We had a brilliant time in Kalkan with the apartment offering the best sunset views we have ever seen.
Apartment: The apartment is located about half a mile away from Kalkan and in a quiet location. It is very spacious and clean. The balcony offers breathtaking views of the sea and you can see Kalkan centre and can hear the gentle music in the evenings. The apartment is part of about 12 others and share a lovely swimming pool. It is a quiet location and not all the other apartments were occupied - which suited us just fine.
Kalkan: Kalkan is beautiful and the local Turkish people very friendly. There is a small beach, but we did not really go there for a swim. We loved the restaurants - 10 out of 10 for hospitality - the ice creams and waffles were excellent. We spent most of our evenings there... Wish I was there right now. Tip: Go for a massage and for men a shave and a haircut. Its a real experience!
Patara: The best beach (by far) is at Patara - you will need a car to go there. It really is worth going there - however be prepared to pay a fee to enter the beach area - this fee seemed to us as unfair as it was only charged to "tourists". Having said that, Patara is worth a visit.
Kas: Kas (pronounced cash) is an hours drive from Kalkan and worth a visit. Its a city centre with many restaurants and more built up than Kalkan. On the way to Kas, there is a small beach which the locals went to - we did not go there, but instead of Patara it certainly a contender.
