The house sits in a pleasant residential area within 2 miles of Bournemouth centre. A short stroll down the hill takes you to a major bus route to Bournemouth with its shops, golden beaches, cinemas and a wealth of day and nighttime entertainment. Two miles to the large shopping centre of Castlepoint with Asda, M&S, Sainsbury’s, Boots, River Island, Top Shop, etc. On the ground floor is a small lounge which seats 7, a conservatory [used as a dining room], a modern kitchen with all appliances, a double bedroom and shower room. The south-facing garden has a small patio with BBQ, long lawn and is well stocked with flowers. First floor has 3 bedrooms [1 double with en-suite shower room, 1 double, 1 single with 4’ bed], a shower room and an office. There are a few steps to the front door from the road - car parking is on road. The house is in a good location for Christchurch, Poole, all parts of East Dorset and the vast expanse of the New Forest. REDUCED w/c 5th September ONLY £375

Bournemouth has lovely shops, restaurants, coffee bars, pubs and a wealth of day and nighttime entertainment. The Oceanarium houses sea life of all types; the Russell Cotes museum is famous for its fossil collections, etc.; the walk through the gardens following the course of the Bourne stream shows an abundance of flowers and shrubs; the Bournemouth Eye is a tethered hot air balloon that soars over the area with magnificent views of the coastline and the Isle of Wight – all these and many more attractions makes Bournemouth an ideal location for a family holiday. Further a field you have the National Trust properties of Brownsea Island in Poole harbour, Corfe Castle, Kingston Lacey House and the Isle of Purbeck. The sailing section of the 2012 Olympics will be held in Weymouth Bay – 1 hour’s drive away. The Dorset area is well known for its Jurassic Coast and lovely walks

Additional information about rental rates

  • A damage deposit of £100 is taken at booking date. This cheque is returnable/destroyed within 2 weeks of the finish date of holiday period, providing that no damage to the property has been reported by the cleaners. If damage is reported the cheque will be banked, the repair assessed and then any surplus monies will be returned to the tenant.
    A non-returnable booking deposit is taken at date of booking that is equal to 40% of the total rental due.
  • On booking a deposit of 40% of the total booking fee is payable. If payment is by International bank transfer an extra fee of £20 is payable to cover the bank administration fee. We do not accept payment by credit/debit cards but do accept payment by cheque or online banking transfer.
  • A provisional booking will only be held for 7 days. In this time payment for the deposit must be received. Full payment is due 8 weeks before commencement of the holiday.

Notes: Freeview TV is available in the lounge. Though their is a ground floor bedroom and bathroom, its suitability for the elderly is hampered by a few steps to the front door from the road. Car parking is on the road. A major bus route is just a short stroll down the hill. With 3 shower rooms it is ideal for families. There is a small conservatory off of the lounge with a dining table and 7 chairs.
