Athens holiday apartment: Athens city

We were 4 ladies aged from 40 to 60 who stayed in the appartment. The property was very clean, excellent equipped, as the discription said. The furniture was new, the beds were comfortable.Every room had a balcony either to the street(a little noisy) or to the garden( very calm). With closed windows it was very quiet, therefore excellent for sleeping. The owner is very friendly and helpfull. He gave us tips for sightseeing, restaurants or bars as well as for shopping facilities next to the appartment.He was always available personally or by phone.
The appartment is located next to a bus station, as well as to the metro and one can easily reach the Acropolis or Syntagma within a short time( 4-5 metro stations).From the airport you can reach the app. either by bus or by metro and it is easy to find, because the ownner always sends a datailed discription by mail before the guests departure.There are supermarkets around, in walking distance, as well as boutiques(important for the ladies). There are coffee-shops, restaurants and a few bars around, mostly visited by greek people and not so expensive as in the Plaka.
For me it is the second time to stay in one of these appartments and I could recommend it in any case.For me I could not imagine to stay anywhere else and my friends have the same opinion.We already think about our next trip to Athens!
