Beautifully designed flat, just renovated by a leading architect. 140 square metres. 3 balconies. Next to Puerta del Sol, and very close to Santa Ana Square. Walking distance to Madrid's main architectural attractions: Plaza Mayor, Sol, Royal Palace or the Chueca district, as well as the main Museums: Prado, Reina Sofia, Caixa Forum and Thyssen. This flat is ideal for both the business traveller or the tourist. The tube is on the doorstep: Sol, Gran Vía and Callao tube stations are within walking distance, as well as several bus stops nearby. The flat is located in Cadiz Street, with several bars, restaurants and old tapas bars, which are a favourite with most visitors, as well as the locals. The flat is fully furnished. Two double bedrroms, with queen size beds and two ensuite bathrooms, one of which with jacuzzi. Sofa bed in the sitting room, TV, dvd, hi-fi, amazing open plan kitchen, fully furnished with all mod cons: air conditioning, dishwasher, heating.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The rate to be applied will take into account the number of persons and the number of nights The rate announced is for 1 nights and 1 to 4 persons. You must add 25 euros / night per each additional guest
  • There is a 200 euros damage deposit to be returned when you leave the apartment (this damage deposit will be used to pay eventual damages to the apartment, to the amenities or to pay extra-cleaning if necessary).

    This 200 Euros deposit shall be paid in advance by transfer as a confirmation of the reservation. The whole rental shall be paid at the delivery of the keys the first day of your stay.
  • The time for check-in is at your convenience from 13:00 hours. Check-out time is 11:00 hours but if there are not other clients arriving the same day or they are arriving late in the afternoon or in the evening, you can leave later. Please ask to the landlord at your arrival if you are interested in leaving after 11:00 hours. If your actual arrival time to the apartment is from 22:00 to 8:00 hours you must pay a 30 euros supplement.

Fantastic flat

If you are visiting Madrid - you couldn't find a better property to rent for your stay.
We purchased a 10 metro pass at the airport and made our way to the flat, then never stepped foot on the metro again. Everything you want to visit in central Madrid is less than 20 minutes from your doorstep by foot.
While Calle Cadiz is lively at night (some excellent stops for tapas), you close your windows and the room is very quiet. Added to that - the bedrooms are located on the opposite side of the flat - for added privacy.
I love to cook - and I have never rented a property with such a well appointed kitchen (even plastic containers for your left-overs!).
Beautifully decorated with some top notch art, you really do feel like you are staying in a home away from home. Ramon and Samuel were wonderful hosts, giving us advice on the best flamenco, and were available immediately when we had a question. I hope you enjoy your stay in Madrid as much as we did.

Marvellous Madrid Apt.

We're a family of 4 including an 18 and 20-year old. We found this apt extremely spacious, beautifully appointed (thanks to the owner's architectural and artistic sensibilities), and very comfortable with all the amenities for a home away from home. The whole apt was recently renovated with modern and efficient bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. It has walls of built-in cabinets so there is ample storage for everything! It is located in a vibrant area in the centre of Madrid within walking distance of most tourist sites (museums, galleries, Plaza Major, Royal Palace, etc) and with easy access to several metro lines. There are great restaurants, tapas bars, shops and a supermarket/dept. store close by. Although located on a lively pedestrian street, the apt itself is very quiet with well-insulated doors and windows. With 3 huge doors opening to juliet balconies overlooking Cadiz St., the living area is filled with light. There is air-conditioning in both bedrooms and in the living and dining areas so we were always comfortable despite the hot Madrid summer weather. Finally, the architect owner is also an accomplished potter and has filled the apt with many fabulous pieces of his work. We spent many hours admiring his work.

The owner was very helpful and accommodating and always responded to our queries promptly, both before arrival and while we were there. We had a wonderful 5-nights stay in Madrid and would highly recommend this apt. because of its beauty, comfort, location and owner.

We stayed, my wife, two daughters and me, for one week. We loved the appartment and we loved the area. Everything is nicer than on the pictures. The appartement is spacious, confortable and well isolated from the noise of the street. The street is lively making it secure. The situation in the middle of old Madrid means that all the site are at walking distance. Also Ramon is very helpfull if you need something.
This was my best internet rental to date.

Fabulous Find in Madrid!

My family and I just returned from a fabulous vacation in Madrid, thanks in large part to Ramon's wonderful apartment. The apartment itself is beautifully done, modern and clean - it is clear that Ramon took exceptional care with all of the details.

The apartment is located on Calle Cadiz, which is closed to traffic, and is lined with tapas bars, shops and restaurants. The large windows in the living room of the apartment overlook the street, and the energy is wonderful, but due to the design of the windows, the apartment actually gets very little noise. The bedrooms are on the opposite side of the apartment, very quiet, and have very comfortable beds, lots of storage space, and beautiful bathrooms. Everything looks brand new, and the apartment has everything - air conditioning throughout (definitely necessary in August), stove, dishwasher, washer-dryer, double refrigerator.

The apartment is so conveniently situated - right in the center of Madrid. It is only a block away from the Puerto del Sol metro station, and only a 15 minute walk to the Prado, Reina Sofia and Thyssen museums, in one direction, and from the Plaza Mayor, in the other direction. It is also only a 15-20 minute walk (or just a few metro stops) to the main train station, (where we took the Ave high speed train to Barcelona and Sevilla injust 2 1/2 hours).

Ramon is an excellent host; he made everything very easy . We communicated via email to make and confirm the reservation; he met us when we arrived in Madrid , saw us off at the end of our stay, and provided a host of materials and maps relating to things to do and places to see, and made himself available to answer questions.

I definitely hope to stay here again and will certainly recommend it to friends.
