Built in the early 1900 'Rationalist' style, Stunning Views has belonged to the same family ever since. The rooms have been refurbished in 2009, carefully preserving some historical features conveying the charming 'character' of a gone by age. The villa was awarded the 'Best view of Lake Garda ' prize by an Italian villa rental magazine for its views of lake Garda, the worldwide famous Mermaids Bay and S Vigilio luxury hotel. The big fenced garden is immersed in the natural surroundings of a nature reserve with century old trees, and protected wildlife and flowers (early spring wild orchids in the garden!). Walking paths and mountain bike trails in the park. Dirt road access only allowed to the villa guest. A short drive away many small villages with harbour and castles on lake Garda. Wine tasting and delicious food in this area. Distance to the beach 0.4miles (600meters). Distances(miles): 37 Ryanair (VRB) airport,16 Verona airport, 93 Venice, 2 village/ shops, 3 golf course.

San Vigilio and the Baia delle Sirene are among the most beautiful sights of lake Garda. The nature reserve park of Castei is immersed in the natural surroundings of a nature reserve with century old trees, and protected wildlife and flowers. Plenty of walking paths and mountain bike trails in the protected area of the park for you to enjoy. 3 beaches are within walking distance from the garden. A short drive away:beautiful villages of lake Garda with little harbours and castles, wine tasting, children amusement park (a Disneyland lookalike), a golf course, wind surfing etc.1 hour drive: Verona with its famous Juliet balcony, the Arena summer opera festival , Mantova and its renaissance beauty. 1 and 1/2 drive to Venice. 3 hours to Florence.

The Most Romantic Place in Italy!!!

For 14 years my wife and I have enjoyed an annual vacation to Italy. Whilst we usually visit the Verona area, this year we decided not to stay in a hotel but to rent a villa and stumbled across this property on the internet. A little apprehensive we decided to give it a shot and so glad that we did, not only is it a peaceful location, but a clean and spacious property with character. There are amazing views of the lake, fresh air and is within a short distance from boutiques and restaurants and a beautiful historical castle. It has really put the romance back into our marriage and we'll most definitely be back next year! Thank you so much!!!

We all had a really lovely time.It has a wonderful position overlooking the lake in the middle of a nature reserve. The house is very old and some parts need some tlc but we went knowing that it would be a very traditional house rather than a modern villa. The main bedrooms were very pretty and clean.

The lady that owns the house is very helpful and friendly, she stocked our fridge and cupboards and gave us a huge information pack.

Torri del Benaco is a lovely village but we ate out most days in Garda, Al Porto is a good restaurant.

.Hire a boat for a couple of hours it's great fun.We also took the train to Venice, it was very hot but only took 1hr 40.

We loved Lake Garda very much and we will definitely return.
