This well furnished apartment has two bedrooms (1double and 1 twin), a sofa bed in the lounge and a well equipped kitchen for self catering. It has a private roof top solarium which receives all day sun, has sea views and there are two sunloungers provided. The balcony at the front of the apartment overlooks a fitness area and is ideal for alfresco dining or relaxing watching the sunset. The apartment is equipped with English satellite TV offering a range of UK channels plus a DVD player. The air conditioning can be used for heating as well as cooling. A communal garden area and pool are available for guest use. There are many local amenities within walking distance and many local attractions can be reached by public transport. Although not essential, a car is very useful to access the many local Blue Flag beaches, other family attractions and golf courses.

The apartment is situated within the La Cineulica Complex on the Oriheula Costa south of Torrevieja. La Cineulica is a newly built complex with enclosed gardens and pool for residents use and a children play area nearby. The surrounding area is primarily quiet residential but within walking distance are supermarkets, banks, shops and numerous bars, cafes and restaurants. Along the Oriheula coast are many golden beaches many of which carry the EEC Blue Flag. The nearest beaches are 15 to 20 minutes walk and other beaches such as La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Cala Capitan are within a 10 to 15 minute drive. Torrevieja, a lively seaside Spanish town is approximately 15 minutes drive and has lovely beaches, a large marina/port, cafes,bars and restaurants and numerous shops. Other local family attractions include street markets, Rio Safari Elche, Aquopolis water park and go karting. For golfers the championship courses of Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor are within a 15 minute drive.

Additional information about rental rates

  • - For advanced bookings a non refundable deposit of £50 is payable to secure your booking. The full payment is required 6 weeks prior to occupancy. For bookings less than 6 weeks in advance full payment is requested at time of booking.

    - Holidays can start on any day

    - On arrival at the apartment you will be met by the hosts (who live in the complex) who will show you around and explain everything to you. If you require any assistance during your stay the hosts will be available. If you arrive or depart between 20.00hrs and 08.00hrs there is a Meet and Greet fee of 15 Euros. There is also a cleaning fee of 45 Euros which covers up to 4 occupants ; a further 5 Euros is payable for each additional person. On receiving the keys you will be asked to pay a security deposit of 100 Euros which is refundable (minus the 45 Euros cleaning fee) subject to the hosts satisfaction that the apartment is left as it is found.
  • Additional services available (to be requested at the time of booking)
    - A Welcome Pack of basic groceries can be provided for 15 Euros.
    - Airport transfers can be arranged for up to 4 people. This costs 45 Euros each way for Alicante and 40 Euros each way for Murcia.
  • Change Over
    On arrival days the apartment will be available from 16.00hrs.
    On departure days the apartment should be vacated by 10.00hrs.
    By prior arrangement with the hosts if there are no incoming guests you may arrange a later departure time.

Notes: The apartment is accessed by steps to the second floor and there are additional steps to the roof terrace (good views) which may cause problems for anyone with difficulties climbing stairs. Electricity is supplied through a metered card system. This works by inserting cards worth 10 Euros into the meter. The meter has 10 Euros worth on arrival and a further 10 Euros will be supplied if staying two weeks. The 10 Euro card should last a full week with normal usage by four people. You may purchase additional cards from the host should this be required but additional cards should only be required if there is excessive use of the air conditioning, or if there are a large number guests using hot water and electrical appliances.

It's all about the roof terrace...

We had a wonderful time in the apartment and found it very comfortable for the 4 of us. It is exactly what is stated in the property details. The roof terrace is fantastic and part of the reason why we chose to stay here. The front terrace was also great, we ate breakfast and dinner here whilst amusing ourselves by watching people attempt the exercise/assault course! We cooked a meal every evening and the kitchen was stocked with all the necessary equipment (including a garlic crusher!). We hired a car from the airport and though you could easily holiday without it we found it hugely beneficial. We visited different beaches throughout the week and the waterpark near Torrevieja was brilliant (although a bit steep at 21 euros each). The owners were very quick to respond to all queries which was another reason why we decided to rent this property. The apartment was a superb base for our holiday and will recommend it to anyone who listens!

A Taste of Heaven on Earth

Hubby and I were welcomed and picked up at the airport as arranged and found the English driver very informative and helpful on our relaxed journey to the apartment. We were met by the host and found the apartment exceeded our expectations. The description given on the website was very accurate and the property was immaculate. There was a useful information booklet on hand and details about the local area. We relished the peace and quiet we experienced for our May holiday. We woke each day to the sound of strange birdsong and sunshine. We were able to walk to 3 different beaches, the huge Saturday market at Playa Flamenca and at least 5 different supermarkets. There were plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants. We found internet access in shops and cafes, English paperbacks new and second- hand and English newspapers. A short busride into Torrevieja provided a lovely day out, another beach, market, shops and long promenade with bars/restaurants to sit at and enjoy the sea view. We enjoyed eating on the balcony where it was shady and delighted in sunbathing on the roof. The pool was very refreshing when hot. We found and highly recommend seeing the Spanish entertainment at the Patio Andaluz Restaurant on the Punta Prima roundabout (booking necessary). We intend to go again and have recommended the apartment to our friends. There is plenty for young children to do in the area and close by. There are swings,hard court areas for football/basketball, go karts, aquaparks, dolphins and more. We were very happy with the owners' customer service and would like to thank them for allowing us to take time out of our busy lives to escape to their little piece of heaven.
