The ‘Marulla’ Holiday Farmhouse sits on a peak between the valleys of the rivers Aso and Tenna, at an altitude of 750 metres and within a kilometre of Montefalcone Appennino. On a clear day, this unique location overlooking the Sibillini Hills offers a breathtaking panorama reaching down to the Adriatic Sea. The old barn, which has belonged to the Marziali family for over two hundred years, has been converted into comfortable self-catering apartments with a pleasant country atmosphere. The apartment has TV, central heating, bathroom with shower. The complex houses a restaurant which caters for up to 50 guests, offering the best of traditional, local Marche dishes, and an outdoor swimming pool (12x5.50m) with a stunning vista by day and which is illuminated by night, where guests can enjoy cool summer evenings outdoors.

Agriturismo Marulla is set in magnificent countryside near the Sibillini National Park and is approximately 40 minutes' drive from the Adriatic coast with its blue flag beaches at Grottammare and San Benedetto del Tronto. The towns of Montefalcone Appennino, Comunanza, Santa Vittoria, Amandola and the provincial capital of Ascoli Piceno (which is older than Rome and is well worth a visit) are all within easy reach. Our location in the centre of Italy makes it perfect for exploring a large part of the country - Rome, for example, is just 3 hours' drive away or else you can take a bus from Amandola so you can do it as a day trip. Hiking in the Sibillini National Park or cycling tours are easily arranged and are a great way to explore the wonderful countryside in this part of Italy. Artists will also love the panoramic views of the mountains as well as the quaint and historic hilltop towns.
