Notes: We differ from others with the service we offer. I personally meet you at the tube. Its no fun after a long flight trying to find somewhere with your map in one hand and suitcase in the other! This gives me the opportunity to point some useful things out to you . We differ because we do not charge an exit cleaning fee. Absolutely everything is included in the prices you see. On your arrival, milk, butter, jam, juice, coffee, tea, again so you do not have to go out shopping after a long journey. A great deal thats hard to find in central London Apartments .

Your Neighbours/The Building: The building is a mixture of holiday rentals (10) and full time residents. The residents mostly bought the apartments because they work in the City and then alot leave at the weekends, some stay. They are professional city workers, clean, quiet and responsible. You can read this in the guests comments.

Great little flat

I travel to London 4 or 5 times a year and always like to stay in a place that feels like home. This fits the bill. Nice little Kitchen, clean and comfy place to sleep and close to tourist places like the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Will stay here again.

Great Homebase for Adventure

This studio was better than presented and the landlord was extremely helpful. The apartment is located about a 2 minute walk from the Tower Hill tube station. This section of town is quiet during the evenings and weekends and right near the historic East end. The Apartment has a Tesco grocery store right behind the building and is about 20 steps away from a Starbucks, Italian Restaurant and wine bar. The landlord was extremely responsive to any requests and ensured a comfortable stay the entire time.

The studio was clean and comfortable and secure. The studio has WiFi which helped me get on the internet and plan the next days activities.

Overall, this studio was simply a great value for someone who is looking for a nice, clean and comfortable headquarters to explore London.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

Family Vacation 2009

Let me start with the best part and that was the help that Karen offered us before and when we arrived. Good directions to get from Hearthrow to the flat. She also gave us good tips on where to shop for groceries and things to see. Black Friars pub (Karen's suggestion) is a must.

My daughter's fantasy wish was to visit London, so for her 18th birthday we flew to London and rented the Tower Bridge apartment in Marlyn Lodge on Portsoken Street. Very quiet area and safe. Starbucks at the end of the block if you have to have a piece of the USA. Nice restarurants in the area. Very easy to get to from Tower Hill tube station.

The flat is not fancy but very clean and nice. We had maid service every day. Comfortable bedroom and nice living room with Sony flat panel TV and cable. The 3 of us had adequate space. The kitchen is nice and saved us a lot of $ as it is expensive to eat out in London.

Would certainly recommend this place for location, comfort and value. Thanks again Karen.

The apartment was exactly as described and a great value for the price. It was clean, with plenty of fresh towels in the bathroom, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, full kitchen and clothes washer (but no clothers dryer). Cleaning service was there every weekday morning. The neighbors were all very quiet and I believe that the neighborhood in general is quiet although, during our rental time there was some construction going on that did not allow one to sleep in late. It is close to the Tower Hill underground station and easy walking distance to the Tower of London. I would be happy to stay there again in the future and would recommend this property to a friend. It is not fancy but is clean and comfortable, with plenty of space and a very good price.
