This property is situated in the heart of the Cathar country and is steped in Medieval history. Carcassonne Castle is a world Heritage site and is the best preserved Medieval Castle in Europe. The area is surrounded with vinyards and is well known for the Minervois wine. There are many quiet country roads for cycling and walking trhrough the beautiful countryside. The Mediterranean coast is approximately 45 minutes drive, where there are good beaches and facilities. The Canal du Midi flows close to the village of Aigues Vives and provides much interest. The large interesting towns of Toulouse and Narbonne are within an easy drive. Aigues Vives has a bakery, a bar and a post office. Several other shops, including a supermarket,can be fount close by.
A deposit of 50% will be required to secure a booking, with the balance due six weeks before the commencement of your stay. Also payable at that time will be a refundable damage deposit of 200 euros. A good supply of towels, apart from pool and beach towels, can be supplied , along with a weekly change of bed linen, at a cost of 50Euros, payable with final balance six weeks prior to visit.
