This stunning, spacious 4 bedroom 4 bathroom detached villa with amazing views is 750 meters from the centre of the popular village of Peyia with its shops, bars and restaurants. The 8x4 private pool is set in idyllic surroundings with fruit trees and a herb garden to the sides. This villa is real must for a relaxing get away break. Sit outside by the pool, enjoy the panoramic views over and around Coral Bay, have a swim, and wind down at the end of the day with a BBQ and cool drink. Enjoy! Inside there is a spacious lounge and dining room with large patio doors leading out to the rear terrace, pool and garden. The kitchen is open plan and well equipped with an adjacent utility room and guest cloak. As well as a ground floor en suite bedroom, there are also three en suite bedrooms, with king sized beds, on the upper level. The master bedroom has a lounge/dressing area with spectacular views from Paphos to Sea Caves.

Pegia (Peyia, Pegeia) is a delightful village in the hills above Coral Bay. It is centred around its old church, with a good selection of shops and restaurants spilling out all around. Down the hill leads you to the coast around Coral Bay (Blue flag beach) and the road to Paphos in one direction or in the other direction to the Akamas for nature lovers. It is a short drive over the hills to the beaches at Polis and Latchi through the vineyards of Kathikas. This area has all the typical resort attractions as well as being close to significant historic sites - the Troodos mountains with its UNESCO listed Byzantine churches, Kourion and the Temple of Apollo near Episkopi, the mosaics in Paphos, the temple at Kouklia, to list a few. There is even a choice of golf courses within approximately 30 minutes of the villa, winter skiing in the Troodos, day trips to Egypt, or visit the snake and reptile farm just down the road. Something for everyone!

  • All the upstairs bedrooms have generous hanging/storage space in the cupboards, overhead fans, air conditioning, and fly screens. The downstairs bedroom has all the above except for the overhead fan. All the bathrooms have showers - in addition the master bedroom also has a bath, and the second bedroom has a double sized shower. All bedrooms have blinds. There is a huge view from the master bedroom and that is why there is a sofa up there too!

Notes: A car is necessary for this property - although our own family has walked into and out of Peyia and spent most of the day in the villa, by the pool! It is a steep walk up to the main road into Peyia and so you need to be able to make that climb up. You can drive straight down to the villa, park under the shaded pergola and go in the front door very easily if mobility is a problem. Wheelchairs can be accommodated but there are two small rises to the villa door; once inside the villa opens up on one level downstairs. Talking about cars, I prefer driving an automatic because I'm a bit of a wimp about hill starts, but my husband loves hill starts and prefers a manual gear change. We have spent some wonderful family holidays here - there's lots to see and do. The villa is comfortable and unfussy. There is a mid stay clean and change of linen for two week+ breaks. Starter food packs can be arranged. Guidebooks, dvd's, etc are left there for your enjoyment. We welcome you.

We try to be as flexible as possible on changeover days. In the peak season, however, the property must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure. Check in is from 3pm unless otherwise agreed beforehand. All bedlinen and towels are provided, including beach towels. For two week bookings there is a mid stay change of linen. A cot/highchair can be provided if required - please let us know. The pool does not have a safety railing - very few in Cyprus do - so we advise close supervision of children in the pool area. We also ask that plastic plates and glasses are used in the outdoors area - these are all provided and add to the safety of your stay. If you arrive late at night you will very often find 'kiosks' open where basic food items can be picked up. However, we can arrange for basics such as milk, tea, cereal, bread, butter, jam to be at the villa when you arrive. Please let us know. For your stay, the shops in Peyia can provide most of what you want.

Other Activities: Wonderful historic sites, vineyards to visit, and great walks nearby in the Akamas National Park.

The owners provided helpful directions and instructions - they clearly want guests to enjoy themselves. We spent a very happy week here in the second half of October with perfect, very hot weather. The comprehensive air conditioning and ceiling fans really came into their own but of course so did the pool. It's pretty impressive that all bedrooms have ensuite facilities. The property itself is attractive, spacious, clean, comfortable and well kitted out, even for diehard self-caterers like we are. We swam every day and enjoyed the location with excellent views over Coral Bay and some impressive sunsets. Would certainly recommend. We intend to return.
