This is an ideal base for visiting London, with easy access to bus and underground to reach Central London and Heathrow airport. Local amenities include the Thames path, Bishops Palace and Park, plus shops, theatres and restaurants in Hammersmith, Fulham, and Putney. The flat is a beautiful contemporary conversion of a period property in the famous 'alphabet streets.' The upper floor comprises the master bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom, plus a second bedroom with single/twin beds. The lower floor is mainly open-plan, with an extraordinary wood-floored space extending from the sitting room at the front, through the dining room, the kitchen, to a study area at the rear - all lit by seven windows bringing light from all directions. Also on this floor are the shower room, and a utility room, which has access to the secluded garden. We loved the flat and everything was supplied for us. The owners and the lady who greeted us were extremely helpful and friendly (and trusting - there were lots of decorative items in the flat which made it feel like 'home', not like a hotel). The flat is close to bus routes to local shopping centres and Central London. There is a well stocked convenience store and post office close by. Our deposit was returned in full within a few days. The flat is not suitable for small children or the elderly, nor for those who might be bothered by aircraft noise. I would recommend it to friends.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
