A large 1 bedroom apartment finished to a very high design set in private village of Vale da Ribeira It has a fully fitted luxury kitchen, all appliances and utensils, a breakfast bar, dining table for 6 and a large lounge that opens onto a 15 sq.m. terrace. The terrace gets sun all afternoon and has a table, chairs and sun-lounger. The terrace is 20 feet from a beautiful pool. 'What strikes you is how tranquil the apartment village is.. the tension of work melts away. Everything is of a high standard. Meia Praia is the rightly famous beach nearby with wonderful beach cafes that serve tuna steak and white wine. Just what we wanted. And it is always sunny.'

The famous Meia Praia beach is 4km away - 5 minutes drive - and the picturesque golden sands stretch for 7km. Whole western Algarve coastline is stunning. 7 golf courses within 10 kilometers. Highlights include: the Palmares golf course (4km away), Henry Cotton designed championship Penina Golf Club and Boavista. Faro airport is 45 minutes away door to door. Car hire essential. Fishing marina and town of Lagos is 7km - 10 minutes drive. Bustling town of Portimao is 10km away. Caldas de Monchique is a spa town 20 minutes away and is famous for its waters, which supposedly have healing properties. Centred around spa hotel open to the public. Meia Praia and Lagos offer all the water sports, boat trips, diving and fishing you could want. Lagos is a very quaint historic Portuguese town with cobbled streets, squares, lots of restaurants, cafes, bars, clubs and shops of all types. The retail park, 10 minutes drive away has large supermarkets for wine and food shopping.
