There are beautiful views of the sea from the apartment. Ideal for sea-lovers or for visiting the beaches of D-Day. Omaha Beach is right outside your door. This is approximately a 1/2 minute walk from the apartment. The apartment right on the Vierville draw road, at the town of Vierville sur mer. Right at the heart of the American sector of the D-Day Beaches. There is plenty of free parking and a park across the street for picnics and BBQ's. Of course the beach is also available for picnics, swimming, boating, and sunbathing.

Omaha Beach is right outside your door. The Musée D Day Omaha is only three blocks away and the American Cemetery is only 5 km away, less than a 5 minute drive. The old town of Bayeux is 20km away while Grandcamp Maisy is 12 km away, with it's daily fresh fish at the nearby port. Also visit the Maisie Battery. Point de Hoc is less than 7 km away and Longues sur Mer is also very close. Visit Mont St. Michael, the most famous Monestary in France and one of the number one tourist destinations in France - just over a 2 hour drive away. Travel: Paris airports are approximately 3 - 3.5 hours drive away. Trains are available from Paris to Bayeux and then bus service from Bayeux to Vierville. Bus service is available 1 block away. Distances: Located in the town of Vierville. Nearest other towns are St. Laurent, 3 km, Grand Camp Maisie, 12 km and Bayeux 20 km. Further: Within walking distance to restaurants, souvenier shop, fast food and ice cream shops, creperie, bar, gas station.

This is approximately a 1 minute walk from the apartment and the apartment comes with sea views. Separate eat-in kitchen, with a hot plate, microwave, fridge, seating area, sink and storage area. It is fully equipped with appliances, coffee maker, cookware and dishware. Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service: All cleaning, towels, bedding, linen and utilities are included in the price. Accessibility - Parking right outside your door. This apartment is on the second floor the only access is by stairs. There is a park right across the street for BBQ's and picnics, and the beach a few steps away. The apartment building has a creperie (restuarant) on the main floor. There is also another restuarant, and bar across the street and yet another store and bar around the corner.

Excellent location for exploring

The location description was spot on. It is an excellent location for exploration of the Normandy. The owner provided excellent service and honest information. The room however is small for 4 people, I would only recommend 2 adults and one child at the most. The owner indicated that the room would be too small for 2 adults and 2 children + baby we had beautiful weather and we are an outdoor family so as such it was ok. It is a shared shower and toilet, shared with 5 other apartments so bring flip flops to use in the shower.
