Leisure time facilities-sport; hidden lakes;status:
Fishing – you can fish without problems in 2 km distance in the village of Warnitz. You can also canoeing, hiking, biking, horse, carriage drive, riding, rowing, surfing, motor boat driving; at the lower lake of Ucker you can dive, tennis, Nordic Walking. Bathing lakes can be found everywhere. In the city of Schedt there is a sauna and a huge adventurous swimming pool. In this way you can find recovery and your children will have a lot of fun. Our house has lots of brochures and flyers what you could do in the surrounding towns and cities. Warnitz which is just 5 minutes away if you use a car has a small tourist centre. There you will always find good advice and friendly staff. The Uckermark is well prepared in terms of tourism. There are also 2 bikes which we can offer to you.
There are also other small hidden lakes which are in the lovely forests. These lakes with its quays will make you dream as you can enjoy nature on your own.

. Do you want to spend your holiday on your own but during the day experience the surroundings? A lot is possible, e.g. pottery, the making of bread; you can also visit a lot of historic monuments, e.g. the monastery of Chorin, the city of Schwerin, Angermünde or Berlin. Within 1h you can get to Berlin and experience this metropolitan city with all its aspects. Be it special events, shopping and the various cultural offers. You are really at the right place if you stay at ours. It just takes you 4 h to get to Rügen. Usedom is in 100 km distance. Stettin km. Templin 40 km. Everywhere you will find bathing lakes. It is just 1 h to the Polish border. You could have a look there and experience the famous „Polish markets“ with its accessories and rarities of the world. It is for sure that you can find there a bargain. Within 3 minutes car drive you are in our small village shop. The city of Prenzlau is just half an hour away. The Huberhof in Seehausen is also a cultural venue.
Leisure facilities - nature:
15 minutes walk over lonely sandy paths to come to Lake Oberrucker which has one of the most beautiful beaches of the Uckermark. You can purchase a fishing ticket in the 2 km away place of Warnitz. With this ticket you can go off to the numerous big lakes in the surrounding. People who love nature can experience untouched areas with all its beauty. A lot of animals and plants have their home only in this region of Germany. Also hunters find plenty of possibilities to enjoy their hobby here. You can book a forest area where you will find the possibility to hunt roe deer, red deer, fallow deer and sows. The biosphere habitat of Schorheide offers magnificent paths for biking and hiking. Crane fly in late autumn: at the border to Poland there are thousands of cranes- this will be an unforgettable experience for you if you make a guided nature tour in the evening.
Golf:
Golf Club Prenden is located in the north of Berlin. Prenden has 2 courses. A 18-hole and a 9-hole course. On a surface of 120 ha, the world cup winner Torsten Giedeon created a masterpiece. Especially to mention are the 4-6 starting greens per lane, the step greens and the big bunkers
