The holiday apartment is located on the edge of Camargue in Le Grau-du-Roi 45 km southwest of Nimes, 50 km from Arles and 35 km southeast of Montpellier, directly on the beach. The resort Le Grau-du-Roi with its picturesque small fishing harbours and its location on the edge of the nature reserve area of Camargue is an ideal holiday destination for nature lovers. "Le Grau" means an open gap on the shore that separates the sea and lagoon. Fine sand beaches that slowly and safely slope down into the sea and a comfortable, kilometre-long coast promenade up to "Port Camargue" begin right in front of the house. From the patio of your apartment, which is dominated by the beach, the sea and the pier, you can observe the theatrical return of the fishing boats, surrounded by seagulls. Everything that you need, shops, restaurants, pharmacies, post office, etc. can be reached on foot.

Unseren Aufenthalt in der „Silbermöwe“ haben wir wirklich sehr genossen. Es begann schon mit dem herzlichen, man könnte fast schon sagen „väterlichen“ Empfang durch Herrn Brodard auf dem Parkplatz der Post. Anschließend sind wir erstmals die paar Stufen bis in den 5. Stock hochgestiegen, waren zwar etwas außer Atem, aber da wartete bereits Frau Mivelaz auf uns und hat uns ebenfalls ganz lieb begrüßt und uns alles gezeigt. Auf dem Balkon waren wir dann von dem wirklich tollen, man könnte fast sagen überwältigenden, Blick auf das Meer und die Bucht sehr beeindruckt. Nach ein paar außergewöhnlichen Tipps durch unsere „Hausherrn“ wurden wir dann uns selbst überlassen. Die sieben Tage in der „Silbermöwe“ vergingen leider viel zu schnell. Im Nu war die Woche mit Sonne, Meer und Strand vorbei und wir mussten leider wieder unsere Koffer packen und ins kalte verregnete Deutschland zurückfahren. Die Wohnung ist sehr nett und modern eingerichtet und hat uns gut gefallen. Am meisten hat uns der Balkon beeindruckt mit dem traumhaften Meeresblick. Die Lage der Wohnung ist ideal, um sehenswerte Orte in der Nähe zu besichtigen, wie z.B. Arles, Avignon, Nimes und Montpellier. Insgesamt haben wir einen erholsamen und wunderschönen Urlaub in der Silbermöwe verbracht.
