La Herradura is a uniquely unspoiled Spanish resort situated in the heart of the Costa Tropical between Almunecar and Nerja. Herradura means 'horseshoe' named after the beautiful crescent-shaped bay on which it is located. It has a long sand and shingle beach with many nearby sandy coves sheltered by cliffs and inlets. Many activities are available mostly associated with the seaside. They include scuba diving, wind surfing, parasailing, sailing, water skiing, horse riding, golf, hiking and mountain biking. The village has an excellent range of restaurants and bars, good nightlife, entertainment and fiestas. There are some fascinating trips to nearby towns such as the Nerja caves, Salobrena, historical Granada and the Alhambra, the Sierra Nevadas and Alpujarras Mountains.

  • Price includes a welcome pack and a small charge for electricity. A returnable deposit of £100 Euros or the Sterling equivalent is required at the time of booking and is refundable on the day of departure. Full payment is required 3 weeks prior to arrival. Payments in Sterling or Euros are acceptable.
  • My rates vary according to the time of year. The maximum price per week in July and August 2010 is 350 euros (or the Sterling equivalent at the time of final payment). Please contact me for rates at other times of the year. Specially reduced rates apply for longer rentals. Various methods of payment may be arranged
