This modern and stylish villa is a self contained, two storey property over looking 'zona verde' (green belt) and benefits from wonderful sea views. The villa is situated within walking distance of the beautiful 'Blue Flag' beach of Sa Riera, accessed either on foot via 400 steps, or by car in 5 minutes. Nearby Begur is a beautiful Medieval town offering good restaurants and bars, great boutique shopping and a ruined 11th century castle. Around Begur and within easy driving distance, are some of the most beautiful beaches on the Costa Brava. The villa was built in 2007 and has been finished and maintained to the highest standard. Much thought has been given to comfort and style for both indoor and outdoor living. There are two terraces, perfect for dining al fresco while enjoying the view. Guests of this villa have available the services of a cook, babysitter and shopper.

Begur and the surrounding area has a wealth of stunning scenery, beautiful beaches and many cultural activities. The picturesque, medieval villages of Pals and Peratallada are close by, as are the stunning beaches of Sa Tuna, Llafranc, Tamariu and Aguiablava. Only an hours drive away is the Dali Museum in Figueres, the world heritage town of Besalu and historical Girona with it's ancient walls and architecture. For golfers there are many wonderful courses including one of the best in Europe only 15minutes away. During the winter months skiing in the foothills of the Pyrennes is possible for a day trip. Beautiful and exciting Barcelona needs no introduction; from nearby Flaca it's possible to take a train and be there in 1.5 hours.

Additional information about rental rates

  • If you would like to book this villa a 40% deposit will be required at the time of booking, which, in the event of cancellation, will only be refunded if the house can be re-let. The balance of the cost will be due no later than 8 weeks before arrival. A holding deposit of €300 (£300) ($400) will be requested on arrival as security against any breakages or damage; this will, of course be returned if there is no damage.
    If you are paying electronically from the USA, please add $28 to the total due as we are charged by the bank for these transactions.
  • The Christmas holiday week will be charged at €830.
  • Guests are requested to vacate the villa by 11 am on their day of departure. Our cleaning staff will begin at 10am in order to make the villa ready for the next clients. You are welcome to arrive any time from 4pm.

Notes: The main terraced area has been laid with gravel. The whole area has secure fencing so children can be kept very safe. There is a dining table and chairs on this terrace and has the benefit of sea views. A spacious balcony runs round the rear of the house; it has another dining area and also sea views. Other facilities offered are: coffee maker, iron/ironing board, hair drier, a child' high-chair, a low childs' table and chair for dining and activities.

Golf: In 2000 Catalunia was named as 'emerging golf destination of the year' by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators. They recognised the merits of the area and the number of high quality golf courses. An added bonus is the splendid setting of the majority of the Golf Clubs and the warm welcome extended to players from abroad. Many high quality tournaments are now played in this area. There are no less than nine Golf Courses in this area including the one in Girona which is a PGA course. Golf World magazine praised the Golf Club at nearby Pals (15 mins.) as one of the best in Europe.
