Senglea is one of the three historic cities in the Grand Harbour founded by the Knights in the late 16th century. It is a walled town of narrow streets and stepped passageways down to the waterside where there are bars, restaurants, boats galore and amazing views. The house is two minutes walk from the waterside where you can get traditional water taxis to Valletta. Walk the other way for 3 minutes and you come to the small but perfect Gardjola gardens with the world famous views of Valletta and the Grand harbour. 5 minutes by car or 20 mins on foot takes you to Birgu with its own waterfront, The Inquisitor's Palace and the Maritime Museum, Fort St Angelo, and of course the Grand Harbour Marina. Senglea and Birgu are wonderful places to relax and also to explore.
