Apartment is in new block with stunning views over the River Arade. There is a large private sunroof, a perfect place to soak up the sun or barbecue your freshly caught fish from the local market. Outdoor dining table for 6. There are two balconies - the front, where there is seating for four is perfect for breakfasting or sipping a glass of Vinho Verde later in the day as you watch the sun set. The back one has a washing machine! The apartment is furnished to a high standard with all modern conveniences, including satellite TV and air conditioning. The two bedrooms are furnished in traditional Portuguese style, one twin and one double bed with plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom has shower and spa bath, also bidet and hairdryer. There is separate cloakroom with a second toilet. In the lounge is a comfortable sofa, TV, DVD player and Hi-Fi and a dining table for six. The kitchen is very modern with separate electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer and can seat 6.

This apartment is ideally located for exploring the Algarve. There are many sandy beaches nearby, including Ferragudo, Carvoeiro & Praia da Rocha. Lagos, Alvor, and Albufeira are all interesting tourist towns within 20-30 minutes' drive. The mountains of Monchique, and the spa town of Caldas da Monchique are within easy reach and can be seen from the rooftop. Up the river is the ancient Moorish capital of Silves with its Castle, Cathedral and charming square. For our younger visitors there is the Slide and Splash water park 5 minutes away (really!) and Zoomarine sealife park just 20 minutes away, not to mention a trip on the Pirate Ship to explore the caves. For our sporty visitors there is golf at one of the several nearby courses such as Penina and Gramacho (5 km), tennis at the Boca Do Rio on the river (2km) & of course a variety of water sports such as surfing, fishing and sailing from the nearby port of Portimao. Cafes, Bars, Restaurants abound you will be spoilt for choice
