The Renvyle Peninsula is a rugged and extremely peaceful area in the North West of Co Galway on the Atlantic Ocean with islands, lakes, mountains and deserted, unspoilt sandy beaches. It is 30 minutes from Clifden and one and a half hours from Galway. Clifden hosts festivals in theatre, literature, music, art and films. It is also the location for the Connemara Pony Show in mid-August. Kylemore Abbey and Killary Fiord are nearby.
The magnificent Twelve Bens are all around for walking or mountain climbing.
Golf, fishing, island hopping, guided walks, horse riding, theatre, music, art, hotels, pubs and restaurants are all nearby.
