A modern 2-storey villa, comfortably furnished with a bright and airy décor that has plenty of shaded outdoor areas for dining and relaxing. The ground floor has a cloakroom, large open plan lounge room with fireplace, TV, DVD & CD players, a well equipped kitchen with washing machine, dish washer, microwave and dining area that all have direct access to the outside covered dining terrace and barbecue area with panoramic views across the Ionian Sea, from here are just 6 steps leading to the sea facing pool. On the first floor there is one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, both have ensuite facilities, a shower room/WC for the double and a bathroom/WC for the twin. The double bedroom has access; via French doors to a furnished balcony that has even more stunning views of the Corfu coastline and across to Albania! Air-conditioning in the bedrooms only. Cot and high chair available on request. Car hire recommended.

Nissaki sits on the north east coast and stretches along 4 kilometres of olive tree clad coastline and incorporating 3 pretty beaches. Nissaki Bay is the closest beach to Vigla and an idyllic Greek setting of white pebbles overlooked by a couple of excellent tavernas. Kaminaki is further north and approached by a steep road that ends on the beach where you will find pristine waters with nearby tavernas and finally Krouzeri, a long stretch of pebbly beach. All beaches have sun beds and umbrellas to hire as well as a varying selection of water sports and motorboat hire. You will find a good selection of eateries on the main road always with stunning sea views from their dining areas. Nissaki is a wonderful sport to unwind either from your hillside villa with uninterrupted sea views or by the beach savouring your Greek mezes! Just a few kilometres from Nissaki you can reach the popular bay of Agni or further to Kassiopi in the north and Barbati is just a few minutes drive south.

We spent a wonderful time at Villa Vigla in Vigglatouri, from October 3rd until Otober 17th this year. We had a wonderful vacation. It was so peaceful and quite here. We loved the location of the Villa and the house itself lets you feel at home from the first moment. It was spacious, sunny and with big balconies. The pictures show exactly what you will find. We also found plenty of useful information material about the Island, where to go, where to shop, where to eat... ecc.
This place is perfect for people who like to spend a quite vacation and don't need to go out every night. But even if you wanted to go out every night; there are plenty of tavernas reacheable by car in a couple of minutes.
We have been spending our holidays in vacation homes for years, and had good and bad experiences. Our stay at Vigla has been so far best we ever had.
The booking was easy. Meander Travel staff was reliable and friendly and always there to help us. We had someone waiting for us at the airport giving us latest instructions on the house.

We also had a very good experience with the car rental company Corfu Sunrise. We booked the car, we got a confirmation. Someone was waiting for us at the airport. We paid the car, got the keys and contract. At the departure we just had to leave the car in the parking.

We have been travelling a lot on the island and liked the NE up to Ag. Spyridon best. We enjoyed the inland around Mt Pantokrator as well as Paleokastritsa and the surroundings. We really disliked the southern part and Sidari. The beaches were all clean (Nissaki is the nearest to Villa Vigla), the water was nearly everywhere cristal clear.
So if you are looking for a nice place to stay we can really recommend Villa Vigla in Vigglatouri.
