Apartment Golden Hills is a brand new stylishly furnished two bedroom luxury penthouse with superb views on a high quality development in Tersefanou. The apartment sleeps up to 6 guests and will appeal to couples and families looking for high quality self catering accommodation in a relaxing and peaceful location close to beaches and centrally located from which there is a good selection of things to see and do. The open plan living room has two patio doors leading out onto one of two large roof terraces overlooking the pool area. Air conditioned throughout with a high specification finish there are two bedrooms and a large family bathroom. In the lounge area the contemporary corner sofa converts into a sofa bed, and there is a TV and DVD for guests to enjoy DVDs which can be hired locally. The large fully equipped kitchen enables guests to self cater or they can dine at a good selection of local tavernas. Guests can enjoy the large communial pool or one of the many close by beaches.

Tersefanou and Kiti are charming and well situated villages just 3 kms from the nearest beaches of Pervolia and Meneou and just a ten minute transfer from Larnaca International Airport. The village is very traditional in look and feel with winding streets and traditional stone houses and has a very pretty old stone church at the centre. It offers guests a good selection of amenities including bank, supermarket, bakery, petrol, restaurants and traditional tavernas.Nearby places of interest include Angelokisti Church in Kiti Village, Cape Kiti Lighthouse at Meneou, Stavrouni Monastery 45 minutes drive . The historical city of Larnaca is just 10 km to the centre and with its very popular cosmopolitan promenade offers a good choice of international restaurants, bars, marina, and shops.

However the cooler winter months attract keen walkers, mountain biking enthusiasts and skiers to the Troodos Mountains and Akamas peninsular areas. In addition to the wonderful choice of beaches and all year sunshine the Larnaca region offers families a fantastic choice of modern or traditional restaurants, and many things to do and see, from water parks, to go carting, golf to luxury spas there is something for all ages to enjoy.

Tersefanou area information : Tersefanoui is a charming and well situated village just 3 kms from the nearest beaches of Pervolia and Meneou and just a ten minute transfer from Larnaca International Airport. Family Activities: For those seeking an active holiday there are water theme parks in Ayia Napa, Limassol and Paphos or you can enjoy snorkelling in the crystal clear waters of the protected area of Cape Greko or if you are more adventurous Cyprus is well known for its wreck diving sites. Kiti is situated about an hour from everything, great scenery, good walking, and mountain biking and water sports. Large supermarkets are located in Larnaca City.Other activities for families include, Water Park, Camel Park, diving, water sports, boat trips, snorkelling trips, jeep safaris, horse riding, wine tasting, archaeological and historical sites to visit, donkey sanctuary and go carting tracks.

Golf: Three golf courses are all within a 15 minute drive of the apartment. Vikla Golf and Country Club is situated near the village of Vikla in Cyprus, close to Larnaca and a 20km drive from Limmassol. For €34 you can play all day, and this price includes club hire, balls, tees and water

Our stay at the Golden Hills apartment complex was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. The complex was very peaceful and maintained a high standard of cleanliness. The apartment itself was clean, spacious, comfortable, tastefully decorated and provided with every item you could possibly need (including lunchboxes which came in very handy!).

You definitely need a car, however, if you wanted a night off from driving there are local taxi services which are reasonably priced.

There is a small village (Teresefanou) nearby and the main village/town (Kiti) is 5 mins drive, where they have all the essential shops and some bars and restaurants. There are some nice beaches also about 10 mins drive away. Larnaca is about 15 mins drive where there is busy shopping, nightlife and beaches. There was hardly any traffic anytime we drove which made a nice change.

We'd advise you to take a few DVD's if you are planning some nights in as, although there is a DVD shop in the town, you have to be a member.

We would definitely recommend staying at Golden Hills to anyone who asked.
