Apartment Tulipan is an enchanting 1 bedroom apartment on the second floor of a traditional stone house set in the quaint alleyways of Trogir old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The living area is spacious and comfortable for 2 or 4 persons. A main attraction of this apt is the roof terrace which looks out over the church spires, rooftops and alleyways of this magical town. The town is situated on a little island connected to the mainland by a short bridge so is easily accessible from Split airport which is just 10km away. If you are coming by car the apartment has a dedicated parking space 300m away subject to booking this ahead of time. For beaches walk or drive across a second bridge to the island of Ciovo where there are plenty of beaches to enjoy. Alternatively for an even more relaxing day take the taxi boat to these beaches on Ciovo. Dine at the many restaurants of Trogir and get lost in its winding alleyways. And enjoy its vibrant cafe and disco nightlife too!

Come in the high season of July and August and you’ll find Trogir vibrant with life with holidaymakers from all over Europe. During the day enjoy in local beaches, sun and coffee shops; taste local cuisine and sample the friendly people of the village. Alternatively explore the Trogir town; get familiar with its history and the local culture. Or take a 30 km drive to Split and wander through the 1700 year old alleyways of Dioclecean's Palace. For a quiet holiday come in April-June or September/October. Easy and regular access to the mainland makes it a great place to have not just a relaxing beach holiday with the whole island to explore by scooter, boat or car, but also makes for a convenient base from which to visit the historic sites of Split, Trogir, beautiful Krka waterfalls, adventures rafting on Cetina river and other interesting places on the mainland.

You will be greeted in the Trogir offices of the English managed property manager. Their staff can tell you all the best places to visit and help with any enquiries. You will feel completely looked after.

Cultural Events in Croatian Cities - Trogir Summer Music Festival Trogir, on the Central Dalmatian coast, also holds a summer festival, and the emphasis here is firmly on the music rather than the dance or theatre. Again, it is held in the open air, in churches and squares across the city. A list of the concerts on offer in July and August can be obtained from the Trogir tourist office. Cultural Events in Croatian Cities - Split Summer Festival Split is Croatia’s second largest city, and is home to the UNESCO World-Heritage Listed Diocletian’s Palace. Here the Summer Festival (again in July and August) has a focus on the higher arts, such as opera and ballet. The Split Jazz Festival also takes place at the same time, and the two events series tend to merge into one. Other cultural events in Split include the Carnival in February and the four day Festival of Popular Music in June.

I stayed for a week at Tulipan August 2009. The apartment is situated right in the middle of the Trogir World Heritage Site so the sights/restaurants are with a minutes walk. It was a quick taxi ride from the airport to get to the Dalmation Property Management office for the keys, Tulipan is then walking distance from the office.

Overall very much enjoyed my stay here and would return.

Trogir is a romantic medieval town,full of character,with beautiful old courtyards,jutting belfries and shambling streets,full of wonderful cafes,bars ,and restaurants.We especially loved the waterfront,always something happening,great for sundowners,and people watching.Trogir can get very busy in daytime with day trippers,to escape just jump on one of the many water taxis for peace and quiet.There is a local farmers market every day,great value if you are self catering.
Apartment Tulipan is in a great location,a hop,skip and jump to waterfront,5 minute walk to cafes,bars and restaurants.The listing description is accurate,apartment is very clean and well maintained.Kitchen could be better equipped,self catering would be very difficult ,no kettle,toaster,or microwave,and worst of all no bottle opeaner!.It was nice to have clean towels provided,if only they had been bigger and better quality.We loved sitting out on the roof terrace,crosiants for breakfast,sun shinning,looking out over roof tops of the old town.Late evenings spent sipping G&Ts,watching the sun go down.I would happily recommend this apartment to friends or relatives.
Bozana the local agent is very friendly,helpful and very efficient,she is happy to arrange airport transfers, etc for you.
Trogir is great for couples of all ages,not really suitable for children.It is a good base for further exploration,with Split just a short ride away,great for airport transfers.
Favorite past times was people watching from one of the waterfront bars and eating out.Would highly recommend Alka and Mariarna restaurants,but be warned eating out is no longer cheap,prices on a par with Uk.
