The villas, Eros and Ores, are now available. Our luxurious villas are made of stone with private pools, separated by an old traditional house of Kefalonia. The old house has an oven made of stone and a traditional wine maker for everyone who wants to enjoy the agricultural life. The unique location of the villas can give you the time and pleasure of relaxing in front of the magnificent view to the Ionian sea. Surrounded by olive trees and cypress trees but within easy reach of local shops, taverns, beaches and the famous village Fiscardo, the villas can be your private holiday destination. The warm and stunning sunset is really worth seeing from the villas and something you will never forget.

Sleeping up to 6 people in 3 en-suite bedrooms, one as double with an Eames chair and two as double separated to twins. Two en-suite bathroom with bath and shower in the upper floor, one with modern shower room in the ground floor. Hairdryers are provided. Marble floors extend inside and outside and surround the pools. The kitchen is fully equipped for a family use and contains fridge/freezer, fan oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and every other small device that a modern kitchen has. Living room with leather sofas and a Mies Van Der Rohe chair. Satellite LCD TV is provided. The outside areas include a BBQ, dining area and arbors shaded by trees. Villa Eros got its name by the primordial god Eros, or Aros in Greek mythology, who was the primordial god of lust, love, and intercourse; he was also worshipped as a fertility deity. His Roman counterpart was Cupid, 'desire', also known as Amor, 'love'. Stunning sunset view from the pool area and the villa.

Beaches in northern Kefalonia are all white pebble, small, secluded and often shaded by olive trees. The famous Myrtos beach is approximately 15 min away by car from the villas.Village Manganos with supermarket, fruits and vegetables and taverna is 3km. Fiskardo 8km. Myrtos Beach 20km. Assos 15km. Argostoli 50 km. Ferries to neighbouring Ithaca and Lefkas can be taken from Fiscardo.Medical facilities available in village of Vasilikades 5km. Fiskardo has a wide range of restaurants, bars and cafes together with more extensive choice of supermarket outlets, car hire, boat hire, bank and pharmacy. Maganos, the nearby village, has also mini market, tavern and restaurant.

Notes: Both villas have central air-conditioning units for every room in the house and central heating and fireplace for those who visit out of season. Park space for each villa is available. Suitable for both family and friends vacations. Pets are welcome. Both villas are not designed for people with mobility problems. Although, the living areas on the ground floor and terraces surrounding the pool are all level surfaces with no steps.Private pools (both pools are 8 x 4m, 32sqm), unheated but in full sun. Outside dinner tables and chairs. Equipped with sun loungers near the pools. Barbecue for use with charcoal.

We spent a wonderful relaxing week at Villa Eros. The villa itself was in a very quiet location, perfectly situated with stunning unobstructed views over the sea and was superb in every aspect. The villa was spacious, luxuriously appointed, extremely clean and very well equipped. Every room including each of the three bathrooms was very special. The swimming pool was clean and a real hit with the children. We had everything we needed and upon arrival we were met by Gerry the owner who gave us plenty of very helpful information regarding local beaches and restaurants as well as providing us with a lovely welcome pack. A car was essential. The beach that best suited our needs (jerusalem) was a short drive away (less than 10 mins). It was quiet, you could park very close to the beach and there was a small taverna serving good food and drinks. NB: Most beaches in this area are pebbles. Fiscardo was a short drive away from the villa (less than 15 mins) with a good choice of tavernas around the harbour. We also hired a small boat for the day from Fiscardo (which has to be booked in advance) which was a great way to spend the day.
We had everything we could ever want from a villa holiday at Villa Eros and we have no hesitation in recommending it to you.
