Photos and Description of this Abeilhan holiday house 2 bedroom house newly renovated in the heart of a small wine producing village

The house is located in the wine producing village of Abeilhan, midway between Beziers and Pezenas, a 25 minute drive to the Mediterranean, and looking towards the mountains and the Orb valley in the north. The house is situated in the oldest and most central part of the village, right next to the square (with boulangerie, café and restaurant) and the church. Recently renovated it is in immaculate condition. You enter the house off the paved path leading to the church and go up stairs to the balcony where you can sit out and watch the village go by. From here you enter into a spacious living area which includes the kitchen and dining area. On the next floor is the a large master double bedroom, bathroom and a landing with French doors and balcony looking over the village to the vineyards and mountain beyond. On the next level is a very large bedroom with a small double bed and single bed. Additionally there is a garage on the ground level underneath the house.

Nearest Motorway: Pezenas at 12 Miles
Nearest Beach: beach at 20.0 Miles
The village of Abeilhan is located midway between Beziers and Pezenas, .just off the N9. It is just a 15 minute drive to the autoroute at Pezenas, soon to come all the way to Beziers. If you have come for the Mediterranean beaches you have a fine choice of Cap d'Agde, Sete, Marseillan Plage, Serignan etc. Marseillan and Meze are located on the Bassin de Thau. You will find yourselves criss-crossing the Canal du Midi and the River Herault. Within easy striking distance are the historic old towns of Pezenas, Agde, and further afield the marvellous fortified city of Carcassonne and the Minerve area with its Cathar history. To the north, through this great wine growing area, the largest in Europe, you reach the beautiful Orb valley, and the mountains beyond, with the Gorges d'Heric and the Lac du Salagou. Avignon and Nimes are a possibility for day trips, or even over the border into Spain, via the delightful Collioure.
