One-minute walk to subway (metro) Bergen Street station/F train, short walk or drive to Brooklyn Bridge and a 10-minute subway ride to Downtown Manhattan. One queen bed & one full bed, 1 Queen sleeper(sofa bed), kitchen/dining area, full private bathroom. Amenities include 46' LCD flatscreen TV with DirecTV HD, wireless internet connection and cellular phone with unlimited calls in US. Utilities included. Just below this apartment are bars, cafés, restaurants and a movie theatre. This apartment is above a (BAR) drinking & eating establishment. NO SMOKING policy in effect. Please note; if you or any other guest Smoke in the apartment, you will lose your security deposit.

This apartment is on Smith St. This is a strip with restaurants & bars/cafés. Supermarket & bank are 1 block away. Just minutes walking takes you to the Brooklyn Bridge. Less than 10 minutes in the subway takes you to Wall St, 20 minutes or less to Times Square. The subway ride from JFK to the apartment is very easy. Airtrain to A train Manhattan bound to F train Coney Island bound for 1 stop opposite direction to Bergen St station.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Note: $75 cleaning fee
    $250 booking deposit is required. The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is NOT applied towards rent.
    The full rental amount is due upon arrival in cash or US postal money order.
  • Paypal accepted for booking deposit, you can pay with eCheck, debit or credit card through Paypal.
    The base rate is for up two 3 guests. If up to 6 guests are staying the rate is $75 extra per guest per week. Holiday rates vary (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years)
    There is a $250 booking deposit required for reservation. You can pay with credit card (Paypal)
    The remainder balance is due upon arrival, this can be paid by US postal money order or cash.
    Upon arrival your booking deposit will convert to a fully refundable $250 security/damage deposit.
    This is refunded after checkout as long as there are no damages sustained to property.
    If you or someone staying smoke, you will loose your security deposit.
    This will require me to change all the drapes and even sanitize the rugs, sofa and chair.
    Apartment is equipped with cigarette smoke detector.
    Three or more weeks booking receive discounted rates except summer peak season.

Great & cool place to stay in Brooklyn, NYC

A complete enchanting, pleasant and very cute apartment. Only a minute walk to subway (½ block) to Bergen St station in Brooklyn which goes directly downtown in 10 minutes. Four young Europeans travelled late at night on subway and we felt very safe. If it’s very late and you want to take a taxi back from Soho, it’s close & costs about 7 euros to go back home. If you want to stay in the neighborhood, you have many shops, restaurants, cafes & bars are very close to the apartment. At times we heard a little street noise at night but that’s anticipated as it should in any big city you’re in, especially NYC. I guess we’re not used to it because back home we live in a very small & quiet town in the countryside, so it was a big change for us.

The apartment is completely equipped for all your needs, though we did not even cook a meal since we left early in the morning and returned late at night. All the furniture is new and it seems to be renovated with very tasteful fixtures & paintings. The apartment is very clean and spacious. There’s a big flat panel TV, computer, telephone, 2 bedrooms, linens and towels are provided and the owner Joe even gives you a NYC mobile telephone for you to have during your stay. This was very convenient for us because we were able to be reached by anyone while we were out sightseeing & discovering the city. NYC is full of so many things. Just visiting Brooklyn is a charm itself! We certainly felt as though we were definitely back home because we all felt very comfortable there.

This apartment is a great price compared to Manhattan which is only a few minutes away. You feel like a native of NYC living here, definitely much better staying here than at a hotel. Joe answers Emails quickly and it was a delight that provided amazing service to his visitors. We loved NYC and highly recommend this apartment to everyone!!

Enjoyed our Cobble Hill visit

I stayed in this apartment with my husband and son for a week, and it was a great choice of property for us. The location can't be beat. It's a half-block to the Bergen subway stop; the F train gets you to Times Square in minutes. The Cobble Hill neighborhood has everything and is very charming. Montague St. has a million restaurants, Smith St. has some fun night life and cute shops. Amazing Italian butcher across the street, and there's a new Trader Joes a few blocks away. Walking distance to the Brooklyn Bridge. The unit itself looks very recently renovated. Furniture and appointments look new, and everything is very tasteful. The place was spotlessly clean. Kitchen has all you need to cook, and the appliances are new. The size and layout of the place were very comfortable for what we needed. Owner Joe is very accomodating and pleasant to work with.
